Official opening on August 1st. The owners were kind enough to invite us to their soft opening. Roast beef was delicious. We had debris fries with the gravy with chunks of melt in your mouth pieces of roast. The sliders were very good, but it is just meat and cheese. You can dress it as you like. My son really liked the blackened chicken alfredo. My husband had the Bun Jovi chili cheese burger which he said was delicious. We had dessert also. Chocolate chip shake, the James Brownie and the cheesecake beignet. They have several toppings for the desserts. All very delicious. The cheesecake beignet was really unique! The tables are named for different rock bands. They play rock music. Very themed. The staff treats you like family. We will definitely be back. The roast beef is available as a plate dinner or poboy. That is what I will be ordering!

With a name like Rock N Roll Kitchen New Orleans, you might be expecting something cool with great food and decor ala Hard Rock Cafe or House Of Blues. Nope.
It’s set up in a run-of-the-mill bar with a totally different name – nothing special there either.
So if you’re headed to NOLA, there are tons of other places with cool decor and great food – this just sn’t one of them.

Seriously? In the New Orleans area? Even the gas stations around here have better food, service and decor. Maybe the bar owner (it’s really a bar with a different name) needed a little extra cash to rent the kitchen to whoever?
I saw a different review on here by some guy who works at a recording studio, talking about how this is nowhere near what you’d expect from a place calling itself rock n roll kitchen. Maybe The Lame-O Dnier could work?

Had the sliders and onion sticks !!! Was delicious and didn’t have to wait long for food to arrive . Wait staff and owner was friendly and interested in our experience . Top notch !! Missy is an amazing cook and business owner !!!

I didn’t have a good experience here at all. I walked into the place and it was clearly more of a bar than any sort of restaurant, which is fine, but nothing even remotely resembled a restaurant. I actually had to ask someone outside if they served food. I sat down at a table and started looking at a menu which I had to look for myself. No one came and offered to help. There were no signs or any indication that I needed to go to the bar. I made eye contact with both of the bartenders who didn’t really seem to care about the 6’2 Ginger holding a menu. The irony is that I actually work for a production studio who records some of the bigger metal bands around here. They post pictures with our clients, but they didn’t seem to want to help me at all today. I sat around for about 10 minutes, which doesn’t seem like a long time until you realize that I am a type one diabetic and it was pretty obvious I was there to get food. I’d like sugar started getting too low and it was very apparent that no one was going to help so I ended up going to another restaurant. I don’t think I’ll be back here again. There are so many places that serve food in the New Orleans area. I thought this one would be cool because of my occupation, but it was definitely a horrible first impression.

Best burger in town and the Boudin Spring Rolls are a must have! Plus so much more on the menu. Don’t miss out on this place y’all. There are several homemade quality options and all very reasonably priced. I want to try everything, especially after I saw someone’s homemade roast over mashed potatoes. The service was amazing, Nicole waited on us and she was so nice, gave us several recommendations and told us about the specials through the week. Perfect atmosphere with Rock and Roll memorabilia and great music going. Check their Facebook to see more about the specials, this is a new favorite spot for us!

The appetizers were a delight! We sampled a bunch, and I’d recommend the boudin spring rolls for sure. The menu could use an update since they don’t offer a couple of items that are still listed, but the staff was friendly and patient to explain what they no longer had available. The atmosphere is a bit lackluster, but it’s Metairie so I get it. We placed a pick up order, so we were able to wait next door at a local bar; the staff was so nice that they offered to bring the food to us next door when it came out! I’m definitely calling more orders in for pick up in the future

Rock N Roll Kitchen is the greatest restaurant idea that this area has seen in a long time! The food? 5 stars! Service? 5 stars! Atmosphere? 5 stars! Forget about it! Andrew & Missy have outdone themselves on this one! Also, this is the only place locally to get Bumblefoot’s sauces. BTW, the Bumble-burger is da bomb! Go check this place out!
