Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Food was decent for fast food burger. I would most likely go back and try again.
We got one of each taquito, fries, a cinnamon roll, biscuits and gravy.
Left full and ready to tackle the day in Nashville!
Mid morning
Easy find
Great location
Easy access off I24☺️
Can’t go wrong with Whataburger and all the great menu items that comes with this great brand, this location however seems to be struggling and needs serious help in the areas of Customer service, drive-thru. and extended wait times which I’ve experienced on serval occasions, even at times when there’s only a minimal amount of customers the wait can be very long, on some occasions some customers returning incorrect orders but the extended wait times are the most wait confusing. This is a very popular HIGH VOLUME chain and Customers expect that same TOP QUALITY SERVICE they receive at other locations, I’m gonna wait to give them a little more time to get things turned around with better wait time and improvement Customer service…
1. CHECK YOUR ORDER! Frequently made wrong, missing items, fries when you ordered onion rings, etc.
2. Be prepared to wait. Yes, there is a drive thru but this is NOT fast by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve waited as long as 30min when the parking lot was empty and I was only the 2nd or 3rd car in the drive thru.
“Brooke” is a gem. She was all over the front counter, fixing multiple incorrect and incomplete orders, dealing with frustrated customers in a packed lobby at lunch, and somehow she still had a smile on. The kitchen and drive thru seriously need to get their act together. If you don’t have the time or patience for this, you’re better off driving to the Hermitage location. Its probably faster to make the drive than to wait for your order here.
We were the only car in the drive thru. We usually eat late so it was approximately 11pm. The guy taking the order was mumbling and extremely hard to understand. He sounded like he was about to fall asleep. We got to the window and it took a few minutes before he came to it. Acted like he did not want to be there and had absolutely no personality! Gave us our drinks and asked us to pull up. (Nobody else was in line).
We probably sat there for about 15 minutes or more.
He brought out the order and pretty much just handed it to my son and walked off. No apology for the wait.
We usually eat in our car and we both tend to eat our fries first. We ordered the same meal which was the jalapeno cheeseburger.
The fries were old and soggy and close to cold. Even though we waited forever. Checked out burgers and there were ZERO jalapenos!
Had to go back in and tell them. I had at least 3 different employees not understanding what was wrong with our “jalapeno” cheeseburgers.
What is there not to understand??!!
Everyone was nice, but just didn’t get it. A very nice man whom I suppose was the manager came out and he asked me what was wrong and for the 4th time I explained.
He apologized and said he would remake both orders.
We received fresh HOT french fries and “jalapeno” cheeseburgers.
Served and tasted like it should have the first time!
