Excellent house bowls, sandwich and chilaquiles omelette. The country chicken house bowl is delicious. Asked for the side of French toast to have Nutella on it and they obliged! Decent portions all around and quick service.
Will be coming back here again for brunch.
Only issue was that it was a little too hot in there.

The food was great with large portions. They are very accommodating to modifying your order. We got the Denver omelette & very berry french toast. The exterior is very trendy and modern, however, the interior needs more work done. Overall friendly staff & delicious food, but nothing memorable.

If you’re looking for a good breakfast place you should visit this place. After shopping at dicks across the street we came here to check out their chilaquiles and steak sandwiches. Service was quick and food was delicious! We would visit again if we come back in town.

We went here for breakfast. Since it was a local restaurant, we decided to give them a try. Very disappointed. The food didn’t really have a lot of flavor and was overpriced. It has a bar feeling than a restaurant. The crowd there is a mix. The service was ok

Review:

I had breakfast with a friend at this cozy little spot and really enjoyed it. The place feels warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed morning meal. The food portions were just right – not too much, not too little. Everything tasted great, though I found it just a bit salty. Prices are about 10% higher than other similar places, but overall, it was worth it. The experience was pleasant, and I’d definitely go back.
We had Crab Benny, their version of Eggs Benedict with crab cakes and Denver Omlete.

This is our favourite place for lunch when we are in Lombard. Love the fact that this is a one-off, independent venture. Great food, great service, with staff who’re always super attentive and really invested in the whole concept. The portions are generous to a fault, even by American standards, and the fries (chips / frites / pōtetō) are superb, though you can switch them out for a (more healthy) fruit bowl if you feel like it. And they, wisely I think, focus on breakfast and lunch. Closes at 3.00 pm.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time. When we called ahead, we were told the wait would be 10–15 minutes. When we arrived, we were told the same thing — even though the place was packed and there were already several parties waiting.

While we were there, more people came in and were also told the wait would be 10–15 minutes, despite the fact that there were at least four parties ahead of us. We ended up waiting about 35 minutes. At one point, we were about to be seated, but I noticed a party who had arrived before us was still waiting, so I made sure the host knew they were there first.

Once we were seated, our waitress, Sarah, was absolutely amazing. She checked on us regularly and provided excellent service throughout our visit.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the food. My husband specifically asked for his sausage patties to be burnt — very well done, almost charcoal black — but they came out normally cooked. I ordered an omelet with no tomatoes, but it arrived with tomatoes in it.

What was most disappointing, though, was the visible chaos. Since we were seated near the door, we could clearly see that people were being skipped when it came to seating. No names were being taken down, and everyone kept being told the wait was 10–15 minutes, even when that clearly wasn’t accurate. Honesty is key, and several people ended up leaving because the wait time was unrealistic.

Overall, the food was good, but not memorable enough to make us want to return. I hope the management works on improving the organization and communication, as that would make a big difference in the overall experience..

This was my first visit, and I have to say…

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

I have been trying new places using the Too Good To Go (TGTG) app. (TGTG helps to keep good food and drinks from going into the garbage.) I am excited to have found Berrylicious because of TGTG!!!

The owner, Steve, made my drink and brought the TGTG items immediately, even though they had ALREADY closed for the day. (They close at 3:00 p.m. and mostly serve breakfast/lunch items although they do have mixed and specialty drinks.) He was very friendly and welcoming.

Now for the food… The blueberry pancakes with whipped cream topping were definitely freshly made. They were fluffy, light, and had blueberries in every bite. The chicken pot pie soup was filling and thick with lots of deliciousness. (I do not like thin, watery “soups”, a.k.a. BROTHS that are disguised as soup.) I will definitely get both of them again.

Steve was efficient and friendly. He even comped my drink. I ordered a “dirty soda” from the “GRICHES” special holiday drinks list. I plan to get it often.

The location is easy to access from both Butterfield Road and Meyer Road near the southeast edge of Lombard. Plenty of free parking is available. There are numerous businesses, hotels, motels, and stores nearby for a great shopping trip experience.

CHECK IT OUT!!!
