Literally the most lovely woman on earth took my order so 10/10 for vibes based on her smile 🙂 thank you to the woman with dark hair she’s great.
The coffee is that fancy fruity coffee that I know is fancy fancy, but I just don’t like it. I’d rather pay less for a less fancy bean and it just be a not floral/fruity bean. But that’s just me.
Always a line here. Their focaccia and other pastries look great.

The pig and egg is my ideal breakfast sandwich. 2 big pieces of pork belly with fluffy eggs. I just stopped in for the sandwich but the pastries all looked delicious. Staff was friendly. Right across the street from the park so grab a sando and a cup of coffee to sit in the park and enjoy! Will be back soon for sure.

I was told to come here by a barista in Seattle who lived here for a long time/grew up in Long Island. She said this was the best breakfast sandwich in the city and she is right. Great vibes, wonderful folks, and delicious food. I got the plain egg and cheese and it hit the spot.

Space is a bit too tight for comfort but the offerings of bread, pastries and sandwiches overwhelm you enough, you don’t mind rubbing shoulders with other customers while you wait for your order. Pig and Egg is divine but also quite heavy so be prepared! Would love to try more of their pastries next time.

The curry & egg is delicious: fluffy egg, flavorful curry rice w Brussel sprouts. The pumpkin soup is not bad but a bit plain. I can only taste the light sourness from it, lack of texture and aroma. Love the sour dough breads tho.

Absolutely delicious. Their signature egg and cheese sandwiches are on another level—mine was served on fresh, bouncy bread that had clearly just come out of the oven, and the egg was cooked to perfection. You can really taste the care they put into it and the texture, temperature and taste is perfect. Great coffee, tons of beautiful pastries too. The vibe inside is wonderful—great music playing on a record player—and they’ve got outdoor seating if you want to linger. Since they’re right on the park, it’s also perfect to grab and go for a picnic. Just a fantastic spot all around.

The best breakfast in the neighborhood! The menemen — soupy eggs and tomatoes — was delicious with the perfectly crunchy but chewy sourdough bread. The watercress salad (I didn’t see this in the menu but was able to order it as a separate side ) was amazing as always.
Giving it 2 stars for service as it felt very disorganized. I didn’t get salad or bread at first and had to go back to ask for it, and it seems like it took the kitchen a few tries before they got everything right.
Not much seating so went to eat at the park. Quite crowded Sunday for brunch but the food did come out quick after ordering

Stopped in for the chorizo and egg sandwich and honestly it did not live up to the price. The brioche bun was soft and buttery, and the eggs were fluffy and moist, but the chorizo missed the mark. It was too lean, which threw off the balance of the whole sandwich. The place itself is small and cozy. Service was friendly, though it felt rushed because they were slammed with a big group when I came in. Overall, the sandwich was just okay. Not terrible, but not something I’d go out of my way (or pay that much again) for.

Holy moly this place is good! The egg and sausage sandwich is a staple. Mind you, it is a lot of meat so prepare yourself. Pastries and the iced latte were incredible.
One of my favorite neighborhood spots in EV.

What is the hype about the food in this place? I went in and got the ham, egg, cheese on SD. The ham was so old and smelled, it had turned gray/greenish but they still put it in my sandwich. Sloppy assembly of it all. The bread was hard which I was surprised because they make it in house supposedly.
I got an oat latte which was good. Service was good. Tiny place with big attitude. Please fix your food.
