Came in when it wasn’t busy and was seated right away. Service was attentive and friendly but was a bit delayed in taking my order. The summer rolls were delicious and arrived quickly, and the pho came out in about 11 minutes along with the bánh mì sandwich. The broth was rich and flavorful with lots of meat, the combination pho had a large meatball and good tripe with an assortment of other meats. Egg noodles were cooked well, and everything was served hot. Music was a little loud, and prices are slightly on the higher side, but overall good value for the portion sizes. Come see for yourself!

Came in to get pho for lunch after seeing all the great reviews, and it definitely lived up to our expectations!

We both got the steak pho and shared the crispy egg roll appetizer. The broth was delicious, good depth of flavor, and not overly salted like a lot of places. Very good portion of steak, noodles, and vegetables. I am getting 2 meals out of mine. Good prices too.

Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It was nice to eat somewhere where music isn’t blasting.

We will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here since it was called Viet Kitchen years ago. I moved away for a bit, but when I came back, I was worried it wouldn’t be the same. To my pleasant surprise, the pho is still delicious! And the Bahn mi sandwiches are awesome. This is one of my fav places to get good Vietnamese food, and the staff are always so friendly and kind.

Viet Bites is a great place to go when you’re craving a warm, flavorful bowl of Vietnamese noodles. The pho broth is rich and aromatic, and the noodles are cooked just right with fresh herbs and toppings that add great balance. Everything tastes freshly prepared and thoughtfully put together, without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service is friendly and efficient. It’s a solid local spot for satisfying Vietnamese comfort food that consistently delivers on flavor.

I typically go monthly and meet up with a retired buddy of mine. We go for lunch, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The Food is delicious. They only use white meat chicken, which is my preference. One of my favorite dishes, is the chicken cabbage salad. The waitress is very friendly and engaging. Please support this family run restaurant as they are putting their heart and soul into the food.

Excellent service and attentive staff. However, food comes out a bit slow and we saw a young family of 5 were starving with almost 45-min wait.

Food was just a MEH for, but great for the community in this area. It is not the best Vietnamese food, but it was NOT terrible either. I should have tried the Pho, instead of the summer salad bowl recommended by other reviews. The meat (chicken & beef) was too chewy and very salty. The presentation is great. I’d give them a try again just because they are a family own business. However, I have to come at a different time bc they do not have enough servers so the line kept getting longer. The poor young server was on her own to serve so many customers. They need to hire more staff for lunch and dinner crowds. Having a young family with little kids starved for 45 minutes is NOT cool.

It’s possible that because our other home’s area is bereft of decent Vietnamese cooking that we were in such a hurry to get back to this restaurant but the steak pho was phenomenal (as usual) for whatever reason. My husband also ordered “Bo luc lac” which he thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is very clean, staffed with very friendly people, offers great pricing and fabulous food. Give it a try, it’s right off the 101!

Their Pho broth is amazing, you can tell good broth by the fat pearls floating in the broth. Great flavor, great mouth feel, best so far in Phoenix. Steak and Meatballs were also really good. Pork Egg Rolls were also very good. Thai Tea was huge and also delicious. Highly recommend!

I used to come to Viet Kitchen all the time and stopped when ownership changed to PT PHO, but I decided to try Viet Bites and it taste exactly what I’m used to from Viet Kitchen. I had a wonderful server, Kim, and she was telling me that the original owner of Viet Kitchen retired but all original employees are back here now just working under new ownership. If you’re a local who enjoyed Viet Kitchen then you are not going to be disappointed with Viet Bites!! Thank you Kim!!

I normally stop by this place to have the shrimp and basil fried rolls and a bowl of chicken pho. One of the employees recommend grilled pork chops next I visit, I did… they were off the chain They were tender, almost melt in your mouth. I’m not a big fan of teriyaki but the seasoning was on point. I would definitely recommend the pork chops.
