I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mountain Mike’s under the new ownership of Junior, and I can honestly say the difference is noticeable in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine hospitality and a clear commitment to quality. Junior has brought fresh energy and pride to the restaurant, and it shows in everything from the atmosphere to the service.
Store Manager Anthony also deserves special recognition. He goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels valued and taken care of. The customer service here isn’t just polite, it’s intentional. They take the time to connect, to make sure orders are right, and to create an experience that feels welcoming for families, friends, and the entire community.

This place seriously nails it after the new management has taken over. The pizza was fresh, hot, and loaded with toppings—the crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the toppings tasted high-quality, not skimpy at all. Service was friendly and fast, and the vibe of the restaurant was chill and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about what they’re making. Easily one of the best pizza spots around, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Stopped by this location with my sister on our way through Modesto – definitely one of the nicest Mountain Mikes I’ve seen. The interior was clean and decorated nicely, multiple football games were on, and the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had! The owner checked in on us several times and everyone was very attentive. We had our young kids with us and the owner offered to put on cartoons to give them a break from the sports. Very nice spot in Modesto!

We came here for the pizza buffet which was $16.99 a person. For that price we were hoping the food and service were decent, but alas both were sorely lacking. The place wasnt crowded and they had maybe one small pizza out between all the almost empty trays. The pizzas had been sitting there a while so only the truly desperate were grabbing a slice every now and then. A woman who may have had a disability asked a server when more pizza was going to come out and the server was very rude and replied “in a little bit, it pays to be patient sometimes”… she was just very unfriendly even when I double checked the price for the buffet. Eye rolls and the whole lot. It was an awful experience and I am actually full of regret for giving this place a try in the first place.

I had dinner at Mountain Mike’s on Standiford and the quality of the pizza was amazing. The staff was really kind and welcoming, and it was some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

Spent $78 and waited for about 45 mins to get our pizzas and have the bottom of the box feel warm and not hot like they did not just come right out of the oven . We get home and our pizzas (two different kinds) look like this ! Is it just me or does it look like we ordered extra extra green onions . Customer service could have been better as well. SMH
