This review is based solely on the tacos. I was in the mood for tacos and decided to try Don Pedro’s since it was nearby. Unfortunately, they were just okay—nothing special. I probably should have gone with the pupusas instead, so I’ll be back to give them a try. On the bright side, the service was great, and the restaurant looked clean.

A fun atmosphere, there were several families dining in on a Wednesday. Such good food. I got the fried fish, absolutely fantastic! Nice waiter and great food. Fair pricing paid 16 for the fried fish. There are slot machines and a stage. Seems like this would be a good stop for a weekend night! The only reason I give four stars is because the rice tasted like rice-a-roni. Such good beans and fish tho

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We placed an order online directly through their system and were charged, but never received a confirmation. When we went into the restaurant, the woman at the counter insisted there was no order and claimed we never paid, even after we showed her the charge on our personal device.
Instead of helping, she became rude, defensive, and disrespectful. She falsely accused us of ordering through a third party website and then began loudly talking badly about us to other customers while rolling her eyes. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional.
The situation escalated to the point that we called the owner, expecting accountability or a solution. Unfortunately, the owner showed absolutely no concern, took no responsibility, and made no effort to resolve the issue. There was no apology and no attempt to help and was extremely rude and condescending.
Being charged and then told it was not their problem is unacceptable. The lack of accountability from both the staff and the owner makes it clear that this business does not value its customers. I will never return and do not recommend ordering online from this place.

We came here on a whim while camping at Cedar Hill State Park. Easily some of the best pupusas I’ve had. I was surprised to see loroco pupsas on the menu…loroco is a delicious succulent flower that you rarely run across in this part of the world. We also had the flautas, which were extra crispy, and stuffed with gooey cheese and chicken. Again, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Service is almost entirely in Spanish, but you can get by with pointing if you don’t speak any Spanish. This space doubles as a nightclub, and at noon on a Wednesday, the music was so thumping that we had a hard time communicating with the servers. That part was a little bit weird, but other than that, this was a really surprisingly fantastic hole in the wall.

I have eaten at several places throughout Dallas, and I will say this is the best. I had the pumpusas, and there are several flavors to choose from, They also had great music/videos on the TV’s witch make you want to get up and dance.

The owner Pedro was really kind and helpful! I asked him to teach me the proper way to eat pupusas and he was happy to help me! He even let me try the different sauces! The food was a 10/10! I will be back and the quesadillas were delicious as well!

I’m a local and have been coming here for a while with no problems until today.
Absolutely horrible service. I called to order two tortas de asada. After being passed to someone who spoke English, I placed my order and asked a simple question about whether they came with ham. When the employee responded, the call was muffled and I couldn’t hear her, so I politely asked her to repeat herself. Instead of repeating it, she hung up on me.
I called back thinking it was a mistake, explained that I had just called and couldn’t hear well, and the call was immediately hung up on AGAIN. That was beyond rude and completely unprofessional. I will never be ordering from here again.

Pupusas are soooo good!! Full of flavors and the size of each one is larger than most locations. I also ordered tacos and the meat was great! Filled with meat and it didn’t look like ground beef. It was steak! I highly recommend this place.

Placed an order online went in to pick up, they claimed they never received my order. I showed them the charge and they agreed I was charged by them but still proceeded to tell me they could not give me an order and that I should call Uber or door dash to ask them for my money even though the order was placed on their website directly. They then proceeded to bring in other patrons of the restaurant into the conversation to try to prove to me that I ordered through door dash and even the patrons tried to correct THEM and tell them that wasn’t the case.

I love this place this is my third time visiting and the food is delicious. I got the pupusas with frijoles y queso; It’s my absolute favorite and would definitely recommend if you decide to go for the rest time.
