Great stopping point! We sat in here at least three times. Twice for ice cream, which was amazing and for breakfast which was rather mediocre, especially for the prices.

There was a gift shop here, a few restaurant options and a place to register for tours. Plenty of seating in a variety of styles including both indoor and outdoor venues.

There was a breakfast buffet with limited selection which was put on a plate by a server. Not a take on your own set-up. I think the cost was $16 or $18. Not out of line for å tourist location like this, but not all that appealing either. I have to admit, the burgers did look good, however, but we didn’t try these.

Not seeing anything of interest, I decided on something simple, biscuits and gravy. I think this was $6 or so. They should have called it biscuit and gravy. Definitely a lot different from the picture on the menu. One biscuit and a little gravy on about a quarter of the plate. Not exactly a good way to start the day.

The Mesa Mocha shop was a complete 180. It was amazing. A nice selection of ice cream(I think eight flavors or so). We got two scoops (in a cup) and they put about five in there, even tamping it down to get møre in. A great deal for about three to four bucks! Would go back here in a heartbeat!

This is one of the 3 cafes in Mesa Verde national park, the view is wonderful. The other two are Spruce Tree Terrace Cafe, and the Knife Edge Cafe.

We lunched here: clean, bright, the staff is polite. It has a gift shop; the pizza is good.

I actually bought a mug that changes with heat and a pretty conch bangle from the gift shop.

Cafeteria food in a cafeteria environment except overpriced because it’s a national Park and there’s nowhere else to go. The gift shop is overpriced with Mesa Verde National Park stuff. Do yourself a favor and pack a cooler with your meals, it will taste better and be much cheaper.

Plan a stop here while visiting Mesa Verde. You will find: plenty of meal or snack options, specialty coffees, souvenirs, a restroom, air-conditioning, and desserts. I recommend the 2 scoop ice cream cones for a delicious, reasonable price.

We stopped for lunch after visiting the famous Pueblo cliff dwellings 8/18/25. Note: we stopped in here on our way in to get a map of Mesa Verde. The woman at the gift shop was extremely helpful and showed us exactly what must see stops to make the most of our one day visit. Wish we had written down her name because she was gracious & helpful to first time visitors.
The view from the terrace is stunning.
Cafeteria style lunch was pretty good. Breakfast is April 19-Oct 20 7-10am. Lunch is Apr 18-Oct 20 11am-3/4pm. Lunch was a pre-made turkey sandwich (10) and just a bowl of chili (b/c they were out of taco shells) ($6.50).
There are two real restaurants also in this complex.
Restrooms were immaculate despite the crowd of visitors. Ample parking, many busses today.
Glad we stopped here. Thanks again to the gift shop lady.

Great place to stop by as they offer a great selection of snacks, lunch options, great merchandise and all the great views from above! I recommend stopping by and enjoying some time to relax! The staff here are very helpful and friendly! There is a craft made soda that they sell here (my first time in Colorado) but I really enjoyed it as it’s worth picking it up if you’re looking for a refreshment!

Large and roomy. Classy for a gift shop/ coffee place.
Souvenirs are of course, way over priced. ‍♀️
It’s very clean, including the restrooms. The staff is nice and friendly.

Expectations people, Expectations! It’s a gift shop. Not a gourmet restaurant.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the taco salad and Philly cheese steak to be had all the way in the middle of the desert.

My and the fiance will come again with our 1 yr old soon!

Nice bit of information and pictures here as well.

We stopped for pizza after a hike in the park. The pizza was good, and the service was friendly. They even had local ciders and beers to enjoy with your lunch. The gift shop has a good selection and you can get a coffee drink at their coffee bar. They also offer breakfast and the made-to-order omelets are pretty tasty. We even saw a turkey! The coffee bar serves up a delicious flavored iced coffee or any other drink you would order at a coffee bar. Staff is always friendly.

The food at this cafe was very good. The burger was thick and cooked just right. The fries were lightly fried and tasted so good. My partners’ pizza wasn’t full of grease and make with real cheese. The breakfast buffet here was also made with real ingredients and tasted delicious.
