Passing through, saw the sign by the main road, very happy I tried this place out. The food was outstanding. Simple, well made, properly done food at a reasonable price. Freshly made, blazing hot arriving at the table. I am a big onion ring fan and these are my new absolute favorite. The mac’n’cheese was very good as well but the burger was EXCELLENT. I prefer a rare burger, this one was “done” but it didn’t matter, it was hot, flavorful, steaming burger heaven. I don’t usually gush over a cheeseburger but this was a great meal. Bummer I don’t live closer.

Chicken fried steak as it should be! Great atmosphere! Nice to have a place where we could have a conversation and not have music blasting in the background. Service was great and talked us into dessert after being stuffed by the dinner portions. Will definitely be back!

I just wanna brag for a minute on how incredibly sweet kind and hospitable. The freedom chophouse is. I’m not even a customer. I was simply sent to fix their ice machine and after spending four hours only to give them an answer that they didn’t want to hear they stopped what they were doing to offer me lunch. And made me one of the most delicious burgers with homemade hand cut fries. I’m just the ice machine guy so often I go unnoticed but then every now and then there are small shining moments that make your day better. Thank you so much you guys are awesome.

Had reservations at 7 for 11 people. They didn’t take our orders until 8 and food didn’t arrive till 9. Had to get our own menus and silverware. Begged for drink orders and had to ask a waitress to take our food orders after we were there for an hour and then it took another hour to get our food. My food was cold when it arrived. Worst service ever and I am in my 60’s and have done lots of traveling.
When paying they offered a 20 percent discount but refused to give it to the entire party. They added the tips to the entire party after the horrible service.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. However, our waitress wasn’t that great. We were lucky the other servers were more than happy to help and get us what we needed. It did take over an hour to get our food. The grilled chicken was dry and could definitely have used some seasoning. Okra was cooked to perfection and so as the asparagus. Their fried pickles are yummy! I will come back and g8ve it another try.
