Driven past so many times saying I need to stop in and give them a try. Well I finally stopped and wasn’t disappointed. Went with a simple turkey and provolone sub. For such a simple sandwich it was really good. Comes with the usual garnish plus banana peppers and pickles. The seasoning and dressing they put on really made the sandwich. I also picked up a couple bagels for future breakfasts. Tried the poppy seed bagel this morning and was happy I got it. Way better than Einstein bagels and about as close to a NY bagel I could find in this city. Can’t wait to go back and try one of their signature sandwiches.

Good flavor , I got the New Yorker and added roast beef. But I want my other 4 inches of sandwich comped or it’ll stay a 3 star review .tape measure for literal scale. You charge $17 for a 14 inch and I was expecting what I paid for . A little disappointing , otherwise it was solid . I also got an everything bagel that was great . $25 out the door , if they do right and get me my other piece of sandwich I was shorted I’ll go back .

I went in about a week ago and I was (am) homeless (still am but might have a place very soon) and this nice woman who I believe if I remember correctly name was Jessica was working at the time. I walked in not looking my best (let’s just say) and she greeted me very kindly and did not look at me like a piece of trash like most of the other people in the area whom also have their heads up their butts mainly do. I told her I was hungry but didn’t really have any money at that time. I was embarrassed asking but I asked her if she had any food that the company was throwing out. She said no but I will make you a bagel and proceeded to ask me what I wanted on it. I thought to myself wow this is incredibly hospitable and was very thankful as I was really hungry. She came out a few minutes later and said “here I also made you a sandwich.” I was absolutely just in shock at that point as I didn’t expect her to go above and beyond as she did. I wanted to leave a review to basically say that I did not forget that and probably won’t for a long time if ever as it goes to show there are still many good people in the world that are willing to help others. The food here is absolutely incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for helping me at that specific time and God Bless her and God Bless this business.

Take care and thanks again

First time trying this place. We ordered 5 sandwiches, all were decent except the Reuben. Definitely did NOT look like the photo (photo shows lots of meat) there was hardly any sauerkraut and the thousand island dressing was very sweet. Not worth $16. Menu also advertises kettle chips with all sandwiches. They were wavy lays or something similar. Not kettle chips. A little disappointing. I appreciate the fact that it smelled clean, but the cleaner they use was very overpowering.

This is a minimalist’s dream! A small rack holding 6-8 different types of bagels, a cash counter and couple minimally stocked refrigerators for drinks.
The bagels are fresh and doughy, for this they deserve a 5! We ordered a Reuben to split. I don’t know if what I got could really be called a Reuben, it was toasted not grilled, so the meat and cheese inside were cold, the meat was thick sliced instead of shaved. For this I give them a 3. I’m sure their subs are better, but I haven’t tried them.

Little shop near my house i wanted to try. The interior is very bland. Hole in the wall ish. Sometimes, that’s where you get the best food.
And the sandwich was good! They respected the smear on the bagel, too. Was it the best or one of the best in the city? No. It wasn’t.
Was it good? Yes. I mean, it’s tasty and solved my hunger. Lol. But in my ratng scale in my profile, it’s average or “just ok.” I how they continue to do well, but with so many options for my money, I’ll be going elsewhere.
P.S. I rarely say I’m going to review a business, but because I wanted to try their best i told, them I would. So please recommend their best sandwich. It was fine. See the pictures. It wasn’t spectacular in any way, but it’s good food, you know?

Love this place! Have tried a few different subs so far, favorites being the cubano and the New Yorker! & always have to get a brownie!
My husband ordered a large sub 1 time & wow, it was so huge! Definitely enough for 2 to share.
If you’re looking for a local small bussiness it’s definitely worth the try! Photos of the regular sized New Yorker & a walnut brownie.

12 May 2024 – We stopped at this little spot for lunch yesterday; it was our first time going here. It was decent enough, but not impressive. We think that maybe the sandwiches we chose aren’t ordered often, or at least that how it seemed. We do want to try again, with different sandwiches, to see if we like those ones more. It was a good lunch, nonetheless, or we wouldn’t go back at all. 🙂

The included chips were a nice touch, and the service was great! We had planned to dine-in, but decided against it at the last second and ordered our meal as takeaway instead.

I’m a south Florida native, bagels are everything and this place makes me feel like I’m not only back at home but eating from an authentic NY bagel spot. The quality even when delivered is AMAZING, thank you to whoever owns this place and cooks because I truly appreciate and love it all. The NY Italian sub is perfection how you slice fresh meats over the top.

June’25 review: I read another review here that was VERY similar to my experience. I very much enjoy a hole in the wall restaurant that serves good food, whether Mexican food or Pizza or sandwiches, but they’re typically not pricey when the accommodations aren’t top notch. I ordered the Philly for $18+w/tax. Thought it was going to be much fuller than it was (pics). The food was good & tasty, bread was soft, but was just super underwhelming in the amount of meat for the price. They’ve been in business a while I hear, so must be doing something right, but for me, I cannot reconcile spending $18 on a sub that doesn’t have meat o’plenty.
Will I return for one of their Classic $15 subs? Maybe, but I’m still recouping from taking my family to Five-Guys 2 years ago….
