I was at The Brew Cafe today and was thrilled to find out that the Picnic food truck in the parking lot has so many vegan options. When the owner, Brian, came inside to deliver some food to another patron, I asked him if wheat-free and nut-free vegan dishes were possible. He went over some options with me and made me a delicious sweet potato burger with gluten-free bread and fries. I thought the price $15 was fair for a generous portion of freshly-prepared REAL food, especially when a garbage meal at Burger King is nearly the same cost. Thanks, Brian! I look forward to visiting you again!

517 Picnic was one of the food trucks at a work picnic I attended. I ordered the Sweet Potato Burger [V] with fries. It was very yummy! Very filling and great sevice!

Every time I see the 517 Picnic Food Truck at the Allen Street Farmers Market, I can’t help but crave a smash burger. The burgers are made with quality ingredients which you can really taste, making it worth the price. The smoked gouda grilled cheese is another good sandwich. The garlic herb fries and fried brussels sprouts are great sides to have with your meal. There are vegan options but I have not tried them myself. The food truck accepts cash or card though there is a small fee for using card.

I was having a hard morning. This restaurant came in when I needed a yummy treat to feel a little better. I can over indulge on the garlic fries. If you get anything from here you must get the fries!!! On the side is not enough! Get your own because you will not want to share!
