Why didn’t I see a line waiting to be seated?
In a nutshell, Churchill’s — an award winning restaurant has the right formula: wonderful service, delicious food, large portions ( my wife asked for a plastic “doggy” box- believe it or not!)- all at a reasonable price.
We ordered Belgian Waffles topped with strawberries and touches of whipped cream.
Told our amiable waitress I was at Churchills about 5 years ago, but promised we would be back soon.
Best not spread the “word” — I hate long lines!

Cash Only! So glad I found this wonderful local-to-Sturbridge breakfast/ lunch Eatery! Very welcoming atmosphere and such friendly staff. We were greeted right away upon entering and were told to choose our table. Plenty of choices from menu. Delicious made to order breakfast! A great find!

Local small business. Excellent, friendly, family type service, simple/ not ‘high brow’ snooty. Good menu & food preparation. Our plates looked good. We didn’t have any problem with small order requests. Eggs were cooked perfectly and I really liked the large pancakes. Not hard & heavy, but soft & fluffy. My wife didn’t care for the style of homefries, small cut pieces, crunchy & dry. After the first couple, I found them a bit addictive.. Good coffee & different, very good sausage. Cash only, but ATM on-site. The building & parking were a little off. It almost looked closed and the front entrance was up a set of stairs & parking was pretty limited & poorly marked. But, there is a side entrance without stairs and ‘space’ around the building to make parking & it doesn’t seem to be a problem with encroaching neighboring businesses. I’m very happy with our stop there and will go there again on our next time in the area…

My wife and I stopped in there twice for breakfast. Sonia waited on our tables, fast and efficient. The food was more than enough as other restaurants in the area beat for breakfast. Food came to the table hot. And the atmosphere and everything else is great. The little signs that she has throughout the restaurant, brings happiness to some people. Enjoyed going there for breakfast and will continue to do so.

Scrambled eggs + home fries: eggs are decent. I’m thinking they don’t use fresh eggs, but the liquid ones. Homefries are soo good.
‘The works’ Omelette: Really good. Great flavor profile
Cinnamon Roll French toast: Nice take on a French toast but I’d rather just had a regular French toast on Texas toast or challah bread.
Restaurant:
Very crowded. Tables and chairs close together. 1 bathroom (the other was out of order) Nothing fancy which is fine. Long as the food speaks for itself.
Love that they give you the option to pay with Cashapp or Venmo!
Only black person dining in at the time (not surprised lol)

A friendly place with a comfortable environment and a hearty, delicious breakfast. Gorgeous, cheesy omelets, fantastic pancakes filled with huge blueberries and chocolate chips as well as a large mugs of coffee will fill you up for your long day at the village and antiquing.

Ordered take out… the menu prices are not the prices that they charge, which I know it says *subject to change without warning on the menu, I made the mistake of not getting the price before picking it up which was $10 more than the cost from the menu. The hash browns were the saddest hash browns I have seen in my life, they were literally just potatoes.. no spices at all… no crisp… just… potatoes… the food was meh, I could have cooked a better breakfast at home and not spent $26 bucks… Won’t go again… Live & Learn.
