Friendly service. Even better food. We had crab legs and they were delicious. Tried almost everything on the menu. And all was great. Although they were out of ribs for the day. Soho early if you want ribs. I will definitely go out of my way to make a trip back here.

We had the brisket plate, pulled pork sandwich, Cuban sandwich, and the baby back rib plate, our sides were green beans, au gratin potatoes, and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and generous portions. Wish this place was in our town, so we could come back. It was great that they had picnic tables for us to eat at since we were traveling.

This place is a hidden gem. Great BBQ with a simple menu, basically Pulled Pork, Brisket, or Ribs. You can get the brisket and pork on/in a bunch of different ways. Handful of delicious sides that make you feel like you’re in the south. The owners/employees are very kind and made sure our food was perfect for us, and offered to bring it to our car as well. They did not have a tip jar nor ask for tip when we paid by credit card, however we wanted to give a tip and we did when they brought the food to the car. I recommend doing the same as you don’t often find service like this nowadays.
All the food was 9/10 or above, the prices were excellent and I hope they can keep them that level for as long as possible. To get a platter of meat and 2 sides for $14 is just too good of a deal. The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal and didn’t have too much of a porky taste and held its sauce + smoke flavor.
Ribs were meaty and pretty much fall off the bone, they had an interesting glaze to them which was still delish. The brisket was a little tougher than expected but smoked so well that we didn’t mind chewing.
Everything was perfect and hopefully I am this far out west to visit again.

We came up to Dolly Sods for a day of hiking. After our hike we rode to Petersburg and found the twisted pig. So happy we decided to go into town. The BBQ was amazing! We ordered a pulled pork platter and a rib platter. The meats were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and moist. The au graten potatoes were delicious. My husband loved the dirty rice.
The staff members were all super friendly and made you feel like family. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you for the enjoyable stop at your BBQ stand!!!

Stumbled upon this sweet spot of Louisiana deliciousness while traveling. The special for the day was the Rib plate and it didn’t disappoint. Fall-off-the-bone ribs, homemade macaroni and cheese, potato salad and coleslaw, ALL were fantastic! Also got an order of Shrimp & Grits…Wow! So buttery good! We will definitely be back! To the owners, we appreciate your attention to creating mouth-watering foods for our tastebuds!

We stopped here for dinner at the recommendation of the good folks of the North Fork Mountain Inn B&B and were not disappointed. The owners of the Twisted Pig are Louisiana transplants, and they know their business.

This is our 2nd visit to the outstanding BBQ Joint. Everything we have had so far has been amazing. Must tries: Ribs, Brisket Plate, Brisket Nachos and Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Some of the best BBQ and some of the most amazing people you will meet here. We plan another visit before heading home.

Take out only – a picnic table outside- but service was fast and friendly. This native Texan gives the tender, smoky brisket two BBQ sauce covered thumbs up! Green beans were fresh and cooked the southern way- low and slow with pork. Yum! My husband got the brisket baked potato which was as big as his head. Lots of brisket, jalapeno flavored cheese and a soft, delicious potato. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. I would give 4 and 1/2 stars if possible. My only disappointment was the generic, not -homemade potato salad. I will definitely be back to try the other meats and sides. Maybe they can get someone local to make good potato salad for them?

I was surprised to have a great BBQ sandwich with a great taste in the area. I could not ask for anything better with plenty side dishes to choose. I talked to one of the owners a very nice young man for a few minutes and discovered he was from Louisiana and brought the favorable recipe with him. It’s a small carryout restaurant with a few benches outside for seating but worth the trip.

We had a rack of ribs they were fall off the bone delicious. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that there is minimal seating, so if you are there as a group, be prepared to wait for a seat. We didn’t realize it was outside seating only.
