I love trying Thai food whenever I travel to see how it varies across the U.S.
We visited on Christmas Eve and almost thought it was closed because the “Open” sign is small.
We ordered the Pad Thai, which was good and felt quite authentic. However, the stir-fry dishes, Pad Preaw Wan and a black pepper dish, were disappointing.
They tasted more like Chinese stir-fry than Thai, and both dishes tasted nearly identical.
The Pad Preaw Wan wasn’t authentic, and the black pepper dish was very very salty.
The prices are also quite high for the quality of food served.
On the plus side, the server was nice and attentive.

This place deserves a 10 on the map. The flavors of the phó was absolutely amazing. I got the large combo pho which comes with beef brisket meatballs and shrimp and I mean 5 jumbo sized shrimps. It was amazing and tasted like home. My wife got the beef pad Thai with a spice level of “3” and it also did not disappoint flavor nor spice level 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

Y’all are sleepin on Bangkok Tokyo! I honestly started to gatekeep this but it’s too good. I got Beef Pad Thai. My wife got combination beef phó. Everything was very flavorful, the food came out super hot, and they had the food, crisp Sprite. If you know you know!

The staff here is amazing, and the food is soooo delicious, my server was very attentive and so were the other servers i had seen working. I had some pho which was delicious, i also had some pad thai and the steak there with rice was cooked perfect and so delicious. The food here was very authentic and quite frankly one of the best asian restaurants i’ve been to.

I’m Vietnamese-American and have lived in Boston, Virginia, New York City, and LA—so I know a thing or two about authentic Asian cuisine. Out of all the Asian food options in this area, Bangkok Tokyo truly stands out. This is my family’s favorite spot so far; I doubt any other restaurant here can match its genuine flavors. I give it a 5/5 for both food quality and service. I highly recommend it to anyone new to the area—your taste buds will thank you!

This place is such a gem! My boyfriend and I got the T4 pannang curry and the N3 noodle dish and we kept trading our plates back and forth because they were both so delicious. This is now our favorite Asian restaurant in town and in the surrounding areas. We can’t wait to try more dishes in the future. Customer service was polite and attentive as well!

For being a restaurant in Alamogordo, it’s good! Upfront note: they are out of sushi and when I asked they said it was going to be completely discontinued from the menu 🙁 We went at around 6pm and were the only 2 there until we were finishing up our meal. The prices being around 15$ each scared me but the portion size was generous and filled us both up quickly with leftovers, the taste was better than we expected, and the waiter checked on us in a proper time without being too much. If you want pho or pad Thai this will adequately satisfy your cravings!

Family-owned restaurant about a 15-minute drive from White Sands and definitely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Bubble Tea
This restaurant is short staffed as posted at the entrance so the service is a bit slow, but as we tasted the meal, the waiting was totally worth it! All of the three items are really good. I asked our server and learned that the chef is his Thai grandma. No wonder the food is so authentic and really tasty!

I ordered take out. My combo fried rice and Tomkha soup was good. However, now I understand the sign, no refunds when food leaves the premise. My green curry dish disintegrated the foam pint container and was in the bottom of the plastic bag. Packaging to go foods needs to be improved.
