Absolutely the worst service and food I’ve ever had at Taco Bell. First off, when we started the order in the drive through they let us know they were out of large cups but proceeded to charge for large anyway. Then they told us they were out of taco shells. I attached a picture of my “nacho bell grande” and I had to walk back inside to ask for more meat, I was met with attitude and told I only get two scoops of meat. I understand that the meat has to be portioned out but this is ridiculous to only have what looks like one scoop. Come on Taco Bell and shut this store down!

**Review of Taco Bell at Pilot – Exit 164 Florence Farmers Market**

I feel it’s necessary to share my frustrating experience at the Taco Bell located at the Pilot on exit 164.

On February 13, 2026, around 7:15 PM, I ordered the $9 box but was incorrectly rung up for a number 9. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee went to the taco maker, insisting that I had ordered the $9 box because that’s what she entered. He confirmed that she indeed rang in a #9. Instead of taking responsibility, she rudely told me I needed to learn how to order correctly and made no effort to assist or remake my meal.

When I asked for her name to file a complaint, she snapped, “You want me to write it down for ya?” Her dismissive attitude clearly indicated she had no interest in helping. I also noticed another customer nearby who looked embarrassed when she hollered at him about his declined card; he was clearly appalled by her handling of the situation—her tone was both rude and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, I overheard her making derogatory comments about a co-worker named Malachi, which is entirely inappropriate in a customer service environment. She even seemed to think I would eat a chicken cantina instead of rectifying the situation. I ultimately had to go to Pilot to get my money back.

This experience was incredibly disappointing and could have been easily resolved with a bit of professionalism and courtesy. I will not be returning to this Taco Bell or any Taco Bell in Pilot due to the unprofessional demeanor I encountered.

The customer service was horrible, please fire them. They were not nice, they were very forgetful, and they were extremely unapologetic. I do not like this one so well, all she does is yell, yell, yell.

I walked in here at 1:30pm on a Wednesday and all of the chairs were stacked up on the tables like they were closed so I almost didn’t even try to order anything. There were only two people working so customers had to wait at the register for 5-10 minutes before even having their order taken. The tables and floor were pretty dirty, probably due to there only being two people.

Also, it would be nice if Taco Bell taught their employees the correct way to wrap a burrito. You shouldn’t be getting a mouthful of one single ingredient every bite or two.

This is one of the best Taco Bells I’ve ever ate at and I only wish it was located closer to where I live which is Myrtle Beach and they aren’t hardly worth a comment, back in Myrtle Beach, first I’ve sat outside in the line waiting to order before and I waited in line for over 20 minutes and when I was gonna be the next vehicle I heard them tell the vehicle ahead of me that they were closed even though they knew we had sitting in the line for them to take our order,…they didn’t even care so I threatened to pick up some of the baseball sized rocks from their landscaping and breakout the drive thru’s glass after they screwed us out of food, and they deserved it,…but I didn’t!!! But this Taco Bell here in Florence,…wow they are open all night long and I like to have my steak quesadillas extra grilled,.. the guy who works there on the night shift by the second time I ordered there remembered me and asked me if I still wanted my steak quesadillas extra grilled and he’s a very nice guy who goes outta his way to make customers happy!!! I just wish all Taco Bell’s could go there and learn to be like this one!!!

Satisfied with our visit. Food was prepared fairly quickly. Friendly staff and clean tables. Located inside of Pilot truck stop, with subway next to it.

I don’t usually have anything bad to say about a Taco Bell, but this one severely disappointed me. The dining room was unkempt, with trash lying around everywhere. I genuinely couldn’t tell if they were just short staffed, or had been ignoring the issue. I suspect the latter, however, as both attendants decided to go to break together, leaning the station unmanned, and there dining room as ugly as it was when they arrived. “If you have time to lean, you have time to clean.” Also didn’t help that they were literally out of everything. Do better, I know you can.

Went to the drive thru because it was drizzling rain. Was told to come inside to order. I said NO and drove off. Spent my money elsewhere. No excuse for such sorry service.

This location has hard workers always under staffed. One person to run the whole spot from taking orders to making food. It’s ridiculous. They need to hire more and give those they have a raise.
