Well, I stopped in for lunch one day. Quite surprised to be greeted by the tempting smell of cinnamon rolls. I immediately knew that I would be getting at least one for the road. It was a nice day and I wanted to eat outside, so I ordered at the counter to go. Staff was very friendly and patient with my unfamiliarity with the menu. Food was prepped in a timely fashion. It’s a very clean, open, and airy place. A little bit of an industrial vibe with exposed mechanicals and steel beams. Didn’t have opportunity to use the bathroom. Extensive menu definitely deserves another visit for further sampling. Probably the best cinnamon rolls in Kalamazoo/Portage area. I left with 5.

I see why all my friends wanted me to roll on into this place. The food was good, but the baked goods are where it is at. We loved the cinnamon rolls, but the grilled cinnamon rolls are next level. Service was slow, so be patient, and it will be worth it. We will roll on in again.

I had the Chicken salad melt sandwich on grilled oatmeal bread with the homemade chips and dip. Liked that the chicken salad was the old fashion with no nuts or fruit. Nice amount of filling with cheese and bacon, very good!! The homemade chips and dip was also very good. Still warm and a generous portion.
Wife had the California Turkey wrap with sweet potato tots. Generous amount of filling and the tator tots were excellent.
Ended up with a mini coconut cream pie and 3 cherry pie. Although they were mini’s, there was easily 2 to 4 servings.
Our server was very good and checked on us often even though they were busy. Food came out pretty quick for as busy as they were.
Kind of an industrial setting so it was pretty loud but not uncomfortable.
Will be back.

All around very good! Beautiful light atmosphere happy to cater to whatever You like. Very well prepared. I had two eggs and fried tomatoes was excellent. My son had a bowl that was beautiful and a ton to eat. Very tasty!

This is a new restaurant for us, and what a nice surprise! It’s great! Our food was delicious, the staff folks are friendly and efficient, and the restaurant decor is so well-done! It’s kind of an industrial look, but still inviting and welcoming. We will go back!

Really disappointed in takeout from here. I ordered and got there promptly, so I know my food didn’t sit for long, and there was a huge hole in the bottom of my takeout box, my food went everywhere when I picked it up. I saved most of it by flopping the takeout box over but it still made a mess and lost some food.
Then I cut into my cinnamon roll, the whole reason of going to Rykses really, and there is one tiny band of cinnamon in it; it is all bread and frosting with barely any cinnamon swirl on the inside. So unappealing and disappointing for for the $30+ I spent on breakfast and tip. Wow, not the Rykses I remember.

Anyone having trouble with getting pies for thanksgiving or Xmas. We called before thanksgiving and the lady said we don’t make coconut pies for thanksgiving so come in on Tuesday and we will have pies in and you can get a coconut pie. Well that was a lie no pies. Xmas called week before and they said call Monday before Xmas and we’re make you a coconut pie. Nope they don’t make pies. Too bad now you have lost a lot of customers

We had to try these super famous cinnamon rolls and they didn’t disappoint. They are huge, easily shareable. The other breakfast items are simple but cooked well and the staff was all friendly.
