We are completely obsessed with Rita’s Italian Kitchen! This riverside gem sits right on the water and even offers dock access for boats. We hopped on our boat, picked up a pizza to go, and enjoyed it right on the water — pure perfection! The parm bites are an absolute must-try. With stunning water views, a cozy fireplace, and twinkling string lights, the atmosphere is just magical. Trust me, this one is not to be missed!

Absolutely enjoyed our meal. Wait time was worth it as all the dishes are cooked fresh. Staff was friendly and prompt. Decor doesn’t reflect the Italian menu, but you go there for the food. A plus is complete lack of 488 TV screens playing sports. No distraction so you enjoy each others’ company, and it also keeps the sports drinkers away.

Excellent new breakfast alternative. We have enjoyed dinner here before, but they have just started offering a great breakfast selection. I had eggs Benedict, and my wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich. Both excellent, as were the coffee and the service. Good value too!

The food and atmosphere was amazing. The portions were big and filling. We got a complimentary salad to start and the cheese on it was delicious.
The live music was a pleasant surprise. We were seated by the speaker and it wasn’t too loud at all. My 2 year old loved dancing away. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I ate there last night and were very surprised with the reduction in Chicken Parm size by 1/2 from previous visit. Meal was very tasty. Being so busy of a night our appetizer was also delivered after our meal was almost complete. The dipping sauce also seemed to be very thin also again very surprised.
We may try a meal there one more time but due to the most recent inconsistency not in a hurry.

Let me start by saying that the food is absolutely amazing. In fact the veal parmigiana is to die for. we went to Rita’s for the first time and the food and ambiance was amazing. the food takes a little longer to come out as it is hand made, but well worth the wait. On the flip side the service was deplorable. Our server was very confrontational right from the start. After claiming initially to be the manager things got interesting to say the least. She said she had 20 years of experience, but none of that was evident. She brought us drinks quick enough but didn’t come back for quite a while to take the food orders. After that, albeit for one more drink order, she was more or less absent. Other people brought some of our food, she brought out mine. At that moment I ordered a large pizza to go. she never once came back to our table to see how things were and after about an hour we were done. We needed take out containers which someone else brought. we then needed our checks. Good luck! That took a solid 20 minutes. Then she brought the wrong ones. another 20 minutes passes and she shows up with the bills. At that time she said the pizza would be another hour. to which I asked how is it possible that a pizza could take over 2 hours to cook. She got very snarky and eventually walked away and sent the owner over. She totally forgot to order the pizza and then lied to her manager about it. The owner, Ashley (don’t be confused) was delightful. She tried to smooth things over and did a very good job at it. The damage however was done. the waitress turned an otherwise great night into a frustrating experience. She said that she had another job and was opening an aestetics business. Perhaps she should stick to what she knows, waitressing isn’t one of them. As for me I will be back because I love the food and I really want to try the pizza. But I refuse to be served by her. Hopefully management will recognize that too. They really have a great thing going and I would love to see them do well. The real sad part was we brought people from out of town to share in the local cuisine. They too were disappointed with the service.

So glad this restaurant is open again and luckily the menu is better than Dock’s. Ashley the owner and her husband the chef have a hidden gem. The menu has unique items that you don’t see at every Italian restaurant. We had one of their signature pizza’s and it was beyond excellent. I think they make their own sauce and it had a garlic crust. Yum! We will be back often and look forward to parking at the new docks when they get installed.

My husband and I took the 25 minute drive out to Rita’s for date night after seeing a promotional video on IG and we’re beyond happy with our experience. The seating both outside and inside were great, the menu was small but filled with fantastic choices and the service was awesome! We shared the bruschetta as an appetizer and were both shocked with how big the portion was as we normally get this when we go out and have never had a portion size that big for an app. It was BY FAR some of the best bruschetta we’ve had. Then we both had the chicken Alfredo for dinner and again, the portion size was great and it was so delicious! You could tell that this was all made fresh, in house. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of food that you get and the service you receive.
We left both feeling very relaxed and happy with our experience and will definitely be back!
