Celebrated me and my wife’s 5 year anniversary here and what a great decision that was. Chips and Salsa were really good. The Al Pastor Shrimp was good. The dessert was amazing. Our server was the best! Ask for Abby if you want a great service!

Had an early dinner while attending a conference. Sat at the bar. Great service, originally gave me a 20-25 min wait despite an empty restaurant but maybe they didn’t have a full shift in yet. Food was great. Delicious tacos, shrimp had a bit of heat but not too much. Mexican street corn was very good. Salsa was up there with some of the best I’ve ever had! Good cocktails. Very good meal!!

Julie behind the bar was fabulous. Bourbon’s; Blantons, Makers, Buffalo Trace. Chips are served warm. Dips and Guacamole are A+.

This was our first dining experience during our stay at the resort. Was told it would be a 35 minute wait for lunch so opted for first-come-first serve seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly, perhaps overly so. She hovered and listened in on our conversation so that when we went to order she had already overheard all our selections. Felt weird. The food was pretty average. About what you’d expect with the exception of a $17 Mexican Caesar salad. I’ve paid that much for a salad before but this was literally a pile of dry lettuce with very little anything else on it. I finished it in about 6-7 bites. I did let the bartender know that it did not live up to the expectations that come with the price tag. Not a terrible meal, but won’t be back.

Greeting was okay. Time to be seated was horrible, when there was at least 10 tables open. Seated at an extremely small round table. Moved to acceptable square table… quick service was not available. So horrible!

We always like eating here when we stay at the Gaylord. We ate around 7:00. We walked up and they sat us down right away. The food was very good and nice sized servings. Our waitress was a bit slow but friendly, she had another larger group she was taking care of. They do not take cash

We went for dinner here during our stay at Gaylord Opryland. The place is big and has a great ambience. You have order ahead of sitting. There was a big line ahead of us but the lady at the counter was fast in her work. We ordered vegan tacos and chicken burrito as our entrees and tortilla chips and street corn as appetizer. The menu was over expensive, May be because it is inside the resort. They had a limited menu. The quantity of the food was good and service was ok too. I was satisfied with finding vegetarian items on their small menu, so no complains.

The opulence & grandeur of the Opryland Resort is unmatched. Having this restaurant nestled right in there is giving perfect views.

My nachos were seasoned well and not hot like I anticipated they would be. We did lunch here and my colleague did rave about her Torta sandwich.

Our waitress was sweet & pleasant. We had a great lunch here.

The food was delicious the wait time and server was the downside of the experience. We were a group of 9 that arrived at 6:30 and we didn’t get seated until 7:45, ordered food shortly after and it didn’t arrive until close to 9:30 according the the photo of the food. The food definitely mad up for the madness.

Being the only Mexican Restaurant in Gaylord Resort we were expecting so much more. The chips were fresh, salsa could have used a little help with more spice. I asked for hot sauce and jalapenos which never came till well after our meals came. We had beef tacos and a chicken quesadilla. Neither were hot. Steak was fatty and quesadilla was just basically cheese sauce and chicken. I know some places are different but I was expecting some sour cream, lettuce and maybe quac. But no it was plain as could be. Not a lot of flavor. I can’t complain about the prices, they seemed fair considering the venue. Not worth what we got but still not bad.
Now let’s move on to our server. Maria, she was slow and like I mentioned, some of the things we asked for never came unless we asked a runner to get them for us. Eventually she showed up with my Jalapenos but after the runner had already brought them. I was more than half way done with my food. The soup, chips and salsa were already gone. She only had a couple other tables. They weren’t that busy. She was a fail, unfortunately.
I would pass on this place next time.
