We are a small mom & pop operation. After many years of competing and vending our award winning BBQ we decided a brick and mortar facility was our next step. All our food is homemade, including the rubs for our meat and our BBQ Sauce. We pride ourselves on great customer service and look forward to feeding you and your friends and family!

Stopped here while passing through for work and I am blown away by this fantastic Bbq restaurant. I had the brisket (was sooo dang good) the pulled pork (also fantastic) fresh hand cut fries that were absolutely delicious and the cheesy potatoes. Finishing up with the best dang piece of carrot cake I’ve had in my life. 100/10 would drive out of my way to come here again

Myron Mixon who!!? This place is absolutely amazing!! I’ve eaten a lot of smoke meats in my time. We’ve been to Myron Mixon’s restaurant in Gatlinburg, not to mention plenty of others. This is hands down some of the best BBQ I’ve eaten!! Rib tips were nice and tender with a delicious smoky taste with hand cut fries on the side! The brisket pulled apart super easy with a great flavor, but the beans were to die for. I could order two gallons and eat in two weeks straight! The staff are super polite and friendly, definitely a must visit. I’d drive a couple hours to eat this again, luckily for me I work in the area. Definitely will try the pulled pork and chicken on my next visit!

Came to Annie’s Eats last night at 7:05pm, only to find they had already closed at 7:00pm and everyone still in the building cleaning up. They wouldn’t serve me, which was disappointing. Came back tonight to get my BBQ fix and ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs, 1/2 chicken, and 1 lb of wings. The wings were perfectly smoked and absolutely delicious. The 1/2 chicken was solid as well. However, the ribs were dry and, in my opinion, overpriced at $24 for just six bones with no sides. Overall, some hits and misses—great wings, decent chicken, but the ribs left me wanting more.

I was hopeful when I found this place, because most barbecue joints in town have shuttered over the last year or two. I was especially hopeful when I saw it was a carryout, and it had a great feel from the parking lot… The place was definitely busy!
Despite the great service and atmosphere, the food itself was very underwhelming. There was nothing special about the flavor of the sauces, and neither the smoked turkey nor he smoked chicken had that smokey flavor.
The sides were especially disappointing, the corn muffins weren’t muffins at all, but were actually Betty crocker cupcakes. The cheesy potatoes were just string hash browns with cheese, and the gourmet mac and cheese, while decent, had no defining qualities.
The coleslaw was especially disappointing. It looked and tasted like a pureed mess.
Overall, the food was not bad, but it also was not great or even unique in any way. It definitely doesn’t taste like a true homemade barbecue joint. Tasted more like someone went shopping at Kroger and cooked everything up without doing anything special to any of the ingredients or recipes.

Left brass pig to come here and was happy we did. Texas Twinkies had been amazing and the rest of the food was good too. Mac and cheese another good menu highlight. Will be telling everyone about them. Good customer service too!

Never in a million years did I think BBQ nachos would be this good — but OMG they were AMAZING!!
And whatever you do, don’t skip the tiger sauce — it takes everything to the next level! The pulled pork was perfectly smoky and tender, and the strawberry bar was the sweetest surprise at the end.
I’ll definitely be going back for more!

I ordered Annie’s for the first time back around late November.. I was coming into Bloomington and my sister picked up the order for me. I had ordered brisket and ribs as my combination plate and four extra corn bread muffins with beans. When my sister gets to the store they say we’re out of ribs what would you like to substitute for.. she calls me and I tell her do polish sausage then. She still has me on the phone and I’m hearing her ask whoever there to double check the bag and make sure everything there, for mine and her order. She goes over my order again to the person and he tells her again everything is there.
I arrive in Bloomington 10 minutes after she pick it up, they’re closed at this point. My order is missing ALL my muffins I paid extra for—-and even the ones that supposed to come with the meal! Then my sister tells me it was $56 for my meal. But the combination place is only about $24 ish dollars. Now I will say I asked my sister several times to ask the guy what the total was before she paid(I had already given her $40 as with tax and extra muffins I figured this would cover my meal) and she was being kind of stupid not doing so when she was still literally there at the restaurant , so not sure on that part especially then she said threw away the dang receipt but regardless I called them on Tuesday Annie’s about my meal- spoke with a heather who I guess is the only manager at this place. She said she can’t get into the POS system to see my order and tell me the total etc. call back.. okay called again, spoke with heather.. same message. She says she left a note to Annie the owner.. call again – hmm Annie didn’t call you? No I didn’t have any calls. Says she will reach her again.. this went on into the 2nd week of December and then I gave up after the same answer and no phone calls. There have been no contacts to contact me from owner or manager to make things right. I’m disappointed this was my first experience from there, as I had tasted a bit of their food at a family gathering and thought it was delicious so I wanted to order my own food and then this is my turnaround. I don’t know when and if I’ll ever order there again or try another bbq place in Bloomington. There aren’t that many any more I’ve found once famous Dave left, and since I don’t live in the area anymore I don’t know what’s new or not. Such a bummer experience hence the rating.
