Quick, cheap and open and in Anacortes past 8 pm, that’s saying something. Great Ramen bowl, delicious spicy broth. Teriyaki chicken plate was well prepared and not too sweet. They seemed glad we stopped in, not annoyed that it was late and were inconveniencing them. Very nice experience, we plan to return. Kudos to the pleasant staff.

Nice little spot. Service is okay, not super friendly but attentive enough to do the job. Food is pretty good depending what you get. Teriyaki and chicken katsu were really good. Katsu was crispy. Katsu sauce just okay though too sweet and thin in consistency, not my favorite. Tempura udon was so hot I had to let it sit for almost 15 minutes and by then the noodles were soggy. Spider roll was okay as well. The rice was way too mushy and the ‘eel’ sauce was so thin is soaked into the rice and made it all fall apart.
So overall good spot just depends on what you order.

I would say these guys are pretty cheap in their service, tables dont have any condiments or salt/pepper. Teriyaki and shrimp combo was disappointing, 98% chicken 2% shrimp. Decent food though in general.

Great great great food and the staff is amazing. The lady is always super nice to me and EXTREMELY friendly. The food is fresh and taste like quality. The sushi chef is nice also and the rolls are always very good and the crunch rolls have a great sauce on them. I tried a new dish today the bimboo (Korean dish I did not spell it correctly) but this dish was amazing snd super good. I will be having it again. The food is always quality and control and also soft regulations.

My wife loves the sushi everytime and the teriyaki is nice. Been coming since 2020 and never had a bad meal.

This has been a family go to for years. Spicy teriyaki chicken is my favorite but everything is delicious. Family owned and they are delightful! Tender with flavor. The sushi section is a newish addition and I think it just adds to the atmosphere, good move. Growing up I thought this is how all teriyaki places should be but this place sets the bar high. The prices are great, portions huge, fast and friendly service with Awesome food. Get ready for your new favorite teriyaki place.

Before meeting my partner, I had never been to Teriyaki Time but when she introduced me to it – it was love at first sight. I ALWAYS order a California Roll with Spicy Mayo, and it had been normal- I’d order, there would be a cup on the side with my sauce, however the last time I went, I had some trouble. I’m an arm amputee and while I can use chopsticks to grab and dip, sometimes my wrist gives out. I don’t think they knew this but we went recently (my third time there) and the sauce was beautifully laid out on the sushi for me. There’s a large chance that they just did it because they are trying new plating methods or whatnot but even then, their service and attention to detail is TREMENDOUS. I 100% recommend this place, their food is always delicious and they are always quick with everything.

Let’s face it: there are two Teriyaki places in Anacortes so they swap the #1 spot pretty regularly.
After an intollerary long wait at the ‘other’ place last week (after phoning in an order 20-min ahead of time), we decided to try the slick on-line ordering system for Teriyaki Time – giving them the same 20-min advance notice.
1. LOVED the online menu! So many choices! Current prices (good to know).
2. Easy 5 minutes to wait in-store, but our order was right and food piping hot.
3. Teriyaki Chicken – ample portions, 50¢ less than the other place; UDON noodle soup! Who makes that anymore? They do and it was great – loaded with chicken and noodles and maybe MSG (Uncle Roger would approve.)
Dad was overseeing the friendly and efficient staff. They hustled to serve to-go and dine-in customers.
They are now #1 on our Teriyaki take-out list.

I’ve been here three times and have enjoyed each experience. Staff is very friendly, food is well portioned and very flavorful. My husband and I had sushi (seared salmon) together for the first time, it was pretty good!
