Empire is a Charlotte area chain that makes some great NY Style Pizza. I have been to 4 locations and I think this one is my favorite. Easy to park, always clean, great service and food is always good!

We ordered take out from here tonight for dinner. We each got one of the dinner selections, which comes with garlic knots and a side salad. The food was very good and the value for what you get you cannot beat. They always have coupons and we received $5.00 off our dinner. We’ll definately be ordering from them again.

The sauce, the ciabtta bread, the quality of the meats everything was superb and perfect. Overall a decent experience. The food was good and the wings were hot and crispy. The pizza I was told was good. My son thought it was a bit to soft, but he is picky. My wife and mother enjoyed it. The atmosphere was good too, busy and obviously fairly popular. On the way out the manager gave us a nice fairwell which was a nice touch.

The pizza with extra sauce here is fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The manager (Kevin) went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, checking in with genuine care and making the whole experience feel welcoming. Quality food, great people. Highly recommend.

Mint Hill location was very nice and clean. Waitress was extremely nice. We did have a bit of a wait but that was ok since we had an appetizer. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings. Pizza arrives and is so absolutely greasy we had to place napkins on our plates to soak up grease. See picture with napkin on pizza soaking grease. The pizza was so saturated in grease it was limp as a dishrag. Wings were awesome. Two teenagers with me so pizza went home with a heavy layer of napkins under pizza to catch grease. Would not order pepperoni pizza again and might only come back for wings.

First time visitor. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The spaghetti with meatballs was enough for 2 meals as was my wife’s Stromboli. Daughter had Fettuccine Alfredo. We’ll be back. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was great.

My first choice for getting pizza in Mint Hill, pretty reliable in terms of pizza quality. Only real gripe is with the carry-out timing/execution.
Yesterday, a Friday, we knew it would be busy. We placed an online order in advance at 5:30pm with a chosen pickup of 6:45pm. Nothing crazy, a large pizza, calzone, and a salad. Ended up waiting almost an extra 20 minutes because they were “backed up.”
Again I understand it’s a busy time, but at least a delay warning would be appreciated for a planned pick-up order.

I’m very impressed with this location. The service and atmosphere are top-notch! They have several TVs almost impossible not to catch a view of a game you want to watch. The server we had was very attentive and helpful. We ordered the pretzel bits as an app, and they had a nice crisp exterior and fluffy dough on the inside with a nice buttery sauce. Definitely recommend. The only reason I’m giving 4 versus 5 stats was that the pizza was oversaturated with oil, as you can see in the picture. This left the pizza dough floppy like a wet rag and only edible with a knife and fork. The flavor was on point, but I was very disappointed with the oil slick on the pizza. Seeing other pictures on reviews, it looks like ours was a one-off, and I’m willing to try them again in the future.
