The pizza was really tough… Chewy… Hard… Im not sure if it was overcooked or undercooked… It had so many textures… The cheese wasnt even edible…. The sauce and pizza had no taste or flavor… It was like the pizza was cooked days ago and then reheated… The water ice is ok… Stars because the staff is very customer friendly..nice..helpful…but I wouldnt go back…maybe it was a bad day….im not sure what all the hype is about…but not good at all

Bernie’s is one of my daughter’s favorite places to get pizza. We are from the Philadelphia area and we make sure to stop by to get a whole pizza every chance we get. They also have great flavored water ice. Everything is priced well.

This place was great! Went here with my Mom passing through Wilmington on our way home to BMore from Philly, and we stopped here for some ice and it was the best I ever had! The flavour didn’t sink, it was consistent, tasted great, and I had a cherry flavour and my mom had a lemon one, which had sweet lemon bits mixed in! A great place and I would recommend going!

UPDATE: I keep going back. This place is the perfect go-to. The waterice is actually bomb (delicious). The pizza is good too. Double slice for less than $5!
All in all, it’s a cool little spot. quick service. Pizza was actually pretty good. Nice and greasy (not super greasy), and the water ice had great flavor. I’d eat there again for a quick bite.
