I like garbanzo, but my experience today was ruined when Ayden started making my bowl, he underscooped EVERYTHING and when I asked if I could get a little more chicken, he put the scoop back in, pretended to scoop the chicken and then pretended to put more chicken on my plate. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the worst experience I’ve had at this establishment and I’ve been here many times.

Ayden from garbanzo should be fired. Terrible service, I usually like this place but the most recent time I went ruined it. Ayden scooped maybe half a scoop of chicken when I asked for more, he also gave me two olives when I requested them. I usually get at least 6. Because of this, I’m not sure I will return, I’ll take my patronage elsewhere.

Good food. Not the best Mediterranean, but for sure better than the expectation of in-campus dining food. Good portion, good taste, good value.

Service is good too. You would tell them what you want right in front of you and they serve it right then and there.

They open for such a short period of time that it was hard to take some time to come here for lunch, but I think it was worth the experience. I will come back here if time allows.

Flames cash dining discount is definitely bonus.

Absolutely delicious, fresh veggies, delicious meat and falafels. I love this place. Everything is flavorful, the food is hot and the spices are just right. So many choices for everything such as hummus, sauces, and veggies. The only thing is that the lettuce is too white for my liking, I’d like green romaine better. But overall couldn’t ask for more flavorful food and the service is quick and friendly. One lady even noticed something in the cilantro sauce, which turned out to be a piece of cilantro that was extra long, but I noticed how much care she took to make sure it wasn’t a hair. 🙂

The food is great but the service is horrible, the larger lady who works as a cashier is argumentative and rude to every student who gets in line. When I asked her when steak would be available again she said “I don’t know and I don’t care.” The workers here are unwelcoming and seem to hate their job.

My favorite place to eat on campus. Big shout out to Crystal, she is the most joyful worker and has fun and real conversations with me and other students while in line.

Very good chicken plate with some kind of vinegarette sauce and quite a few add-ins. I wish they served regular tea instead of two fru-fru kinds and soda, but otherwise it was a very good meal, finished off with baklava!

First of all, tabbouleh is now considered an add on item. This has increased the price of my meal on top of the ridiculous $6.50 I already pay for lousy sub-par food. Additionally, I have a friend who is from the Mediterranean region which Garbanzo claims to replicate, and they have told me on multiple occasions that Garbanzo is terrible and unrealistic in their imitation of Mediterranean food. Thirdly, their falafel is disgusting and poorly constructed. For all these irreconcilable offenses, I give Garbanzo a 1 out of 5 stars.

Believes that serving uncooked, dry rice and meals that are completely different from what you ordered with your name/ order # on it is the correct way to operate a restaurant.

Great food, recommend getting the tossed salad (make your pita bigger without the bread or ask for bread on the side)
