Arrived at 8:10pm on Friday February 20, 2026 which was 20 minutes before their closing time. Drive thru sign was lit up and said open. See attached photo. The worker refused to take our order, turned the lights off and turned an automated message on saying they were closed. Unbelievable.

Everytime I go in here weather it’s to the Dairy Queen side or the gas station side I have to wait a few minutes before a worker is even there. So don’t plan to get in and out quick. And DO NOT buy vapes here. Almost every one I’ve gotten from there says it’s out of juice the day of or next day after getting it and they are 37.99!!! For vapes that are 25 literally everywhere else in the state.

The Dairy Queen right off I-71 on OH-65 is an absolute gem. The location is perfect right on the exit.
The customer service here goes above and beyond—friendly smiles, quick service, and genuine care.
The food and treats are always fresh, and my milkshake was mixed to perfection. The staff made sure my order was just right. The multilingual staff even checked back to ensure I was happy. If you’re traveling through the area, this DQ is a must-stop for both great food and outstanding hospitality.

The food tasted fine, but I’m very irritated by the way we were charged. A $6.99 hamburger kids meal turned into a nearly $9 meal because we were charged $.89 EACH for adding lettuce and tomato. Plus $.89 for a few chopped onions on a chili dog and $.99 for a honey mustard sauce for chicken strips? When I changed my order to two chicken strips instead of four (a la carte), the cashier removed the $2 combo meal offer he had just applied to our combo meal.
Besides this, the condiments, straws, and fountain water are not accessible from the dining area, which means asking every time for any extras or refills you need, but if it’s busy, you have to wait. We were not given straws with our cups of water.
The cashier spoke quickly and was not easy to understand, which left my whole family agitated as they each tried to place their orders.
I would not recommend coming here.

Careful Driver
This place is extremely clean for a convenience store. Not everything is scrubbed down. There are a few dusty gas cans, but the surfaces you might touch are in excellent condition.
New visit 30 April 2024. They have forgotten to actually mix the blizzard up well, and the onion rings at the bottom of my order look double fried nearly burnt. The rest of the meal was okay…..really hot burger and bun. I am hoping a microwave didn’t warm it up, but usually the buns are a bit cooler than the meat nope, both scalding hot. In the 45 mins I was here, only 2 other customers came. They keep cleaning and checking things, though, so I’m not worried about too much being dirty. There are very few things under the equipment. Most really busy places look okay until you get in the cracks and under the wheels of the mixers and soda dispenser, not here.

The server was rude, I ordered two cheeseburger combos, but I wanted to order shakes instead of the fountain drinks. As soon as she knew what combo I wanted, she shoved two cups at me and told me that I had to get my own drinks. Really? You want me to make shakes? They lost that upcharge because of a poor attitude. We were the second order of the day, but I’m not sure which millennium the fryer grease was from. They advertised the loaded fries as a local favorite. No doubt, they’re trying to cover the taste of the rancid grease. The griddle couldn’t have been very clean either. There was an aftertaste with the burgers too

Seems like the food was old and just reheated like they didn’t want to throw it away so they redropped it in the grease. Electrical and the fountain drink hoses were exposed on the floor and the tables were unstable and rocked. Worst DQ experience ever!

Oh my GOD!! This is the best Dairy Queen with the freshest food I have been to in years. It was amazing on the road trip just stopped here to fill up and decided to try the food and I’m so happy I did! I really missed fresh good quality dairy queen food! Yummy
