I had read reviews of this place and finally got to try it myself. While it doesn’t look much different than other store front sushi place, the food lives up to the reviews. I had the shrimp lover sushi and it was wonderful. Well made so it didn’t fall apart when picked up with chopsticks and fresh ingredients. The service was great. They have fountain coke products which I always give an extra star for. Easy to get to since it is north of 6 Mile off of Haggerty. Can’t wait to come back even for take out.

Cute little sushi restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve dined in and had this delivered and both were great. Food always comes out fast and correct. They have a decent amount of tables or you can sit at the sushi bar and watch the sushi be made. I’ve never had to wait for a table (even at peak dinner time).
The miso soup is a must have. Piping hot, simple and delicious. I’ve only had sushi here but everything has been great. They offer daily specials which are great for trying rolls you normally wouldn’t get. My favorite is the Las Vegas roll. If you added salmon to a jalapeño popper, that’s this roll!

I recently ordered dinner from Sushi and Rolls in Livonia, and it was quite an experience! First up was the Tempura California Roll. It scored an 8/10 for me, perfectly crispy and flavorful. Then came the Cancun Roll, topped with mangoes that added a delightful balance of sweetness – a solid 9/10. The Dynamite Roll was another highlight; deep-fried to perfection, it was an absolute delight and also earned a 9/10.
My husband tried the Bibim-Bob with Beef and loved it, giving it a 9/10. We also tried the Wednesday Special, which included the Las Vegas & American Dream rolls. Unfortunately, these were a bit of a letdown due to the excessive cream cheese, which overpowered the other flavors, leading to a score of 4/10. However, I believe that with less cream cheese, they could potentially reach a 7.
The Miso Soup was good, earning an 8/10 – a comforting and tasty choice. The Octopus Nigiri was also enjoyable, deserving an 8/10. However, the Glass Noodles didn’t quite hit the mark for me, scoring only a 3/10 as I didn’t quite like them.
Overall, I loved most of the dishes here at Sushi and Rolls. The quality and flavors were impressive, and I’m definitely planning to order again to try more of their offerings.

Very Disappointed and Possibly Unsafe Food Handling
I visited today and ordered sushi that was supposed to be served cold, but it came out not cold at all. It tasted off, like it hadn’t been properly stored. Shortly after eating, I developed tingling, heat, and stomach pain consistent with foodborne histamine poisoning (scombroid), which can happen when fish isn’t kept at the right temperature.
On top of that, the staff were not friendly or welcoming. The overall experience felt careless and unprofessional. I hope the restaurant reviews their food storage, handling, and customer service practices to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Yet another Korean run Sushi place. Decor, is standard. Food is standard. Quality is standard. Having said that, this is a good total package since everything is standard and nothing is really bad. Hard to find nowadays. Also, their lunch specials are very reasonably priced and generous portion. Would definitely visit again when I am in the area. I ordered the spicy combo special. A little heavy on the sauce, but for $10, who really cares. It was a great deal. I’m a big eater so I also got the Bibimbap (hey, they’re Koreans). That was delicious and also reasonably priced.

Went there as a reward for my son. I don’t care for sushi he loves it. When we were done eating, the sushi chef gave us a special roll. And it was amazing! I haven’t had sushi that was that good. The kids loved it, too. We will be back. (Yam Yam and crazy horse in the pic.)
