This is by far the worst burrito place I’ve ever been to. …And this is coming from someone who thinks Anna’s is the best burrito place hands down. Not this one. This IS NOT the same quality as the Anna’s near Boston/Somerville. This is the worst you can get, which is odd since it’s a brand new location. DO NOT use the kiosk to order food, DO NOT order online thinking it will be ready. Nobody is trained so all those kiosk, online, and doordash orders go through to an unmanned station on the side that nobody checks. They only know to deal with the line of people in front of them. We used the kiosk even though there was only 1 person in front of us, then proceeded to wait an hour! The staff never moved from the front of the house . At one point I had to point it out to them that nobody is working the kiosk orders. They had a big stack of orders from that and online that they then worked on….ours being last of course.
Then, to top it off. It was the worst burrito. The black beans were not drained so it was a burrito filled bean juice. It also wasnt rolled correctly . It was a loose mess that you couldn’t hold.
Steer clear of you are expecting an Anna’s experience. I dont know what this place is..
Menu is inconveniently placed and you can’t even read it and it’s confusing how to order.
There were many employees working but all looked confused and standing around.
Food was sub par. The quesadilla wasn’t even a quesadilla it was wrapped like a burrito! We won’t be back
I’m not a first-timer. I order the same thing almost every visit. I know exactly how it’s supposed to taste, how it’s supposed to look, and how it’s supposed to be assembled. Somehow, this location made my usual quesadilla feel like it came from an entirely different restaurant.
It started with the wrap. They couldn’t initially find a regular-sized wheat tortilla. When they finally located one, it was dry to the point where it had visible rips along the edges before it even hit the press. A wheat wrap should be soft and pliable. This one felt old and brittle.
Then came the fillings. I always get steak. What I was served felt like the leftover fatty and burnt scraps that other locations would trim off and discard. It was dry, chewy, and completely lacking the savory flavor Anna’s is known for. No balance of seasoning. No juiciness. Just overcooked pieces that felt like the bottom of the pan.
Anna’s as a brand has already taken a step back from what it used to be years ago. The quality across the chain isn’t what it once was. But this location isn’t just a small dip in consistency. It’s a major drop-off, even compared to the “modern” Anna’s standard.
I should have believed the other reviews that call this one of the weakest locations in the chain. After two decades of loyalty to the brand, this experience was genuinely disappointing.
