Cozy little Asian/American place! Service was friendly and food was fresh. Chef Lee even came out to chit chat with us. Great place for cooked sushi.

My family was visiting my mom in Algonac and passed this cafe on the way, so we decided to order take out because my husband is Korean and we love Asian food, and Algonac does not have many food options at all. I’m so glad to have stopped in, we love supporting local business and the food was quite good! We got the spicy Korean chicken, shrimp tempura and veg and a shrimp egg roll. We were very happy with our experience and will come back when visiting my mom! Thank you for bringing something like this to Algonac.

We tried this place due to the great reviews. We thought we could dine in but sadly not the case, as all three tables had miscellaneous items stacked on them. We bought a few typical dishes to try. We were very underwhelmed with all of them. The pot stickers were pretty good but the sauce we were given was like watered down soy sauce. No sauce was given for the egg rolls; which really only tasted of the fried wrapper. Maybe more filling would have helped? We bought an egg drop soup but unfortunately ate my gravy (for almond boneless chicken) thinking it was soup as it was so thin. Didn’t taste like any gravy I have ever had…too thin with carrots and cabbage?? I wouldn’t have minded the additions, if it were thicker like gravy. There were no sliced almonds with the chicken maybe it was powered ground almonds?? The egg drop soup was okay. The fried rice was very dry and not flavorful. The chicken itself wasn’t dried out so that was a plus. The General Tso’s have the least amount of sauce, I have ever seen. There wasn’t enough to cover the chicken, let alone rice. Everything seemed very bland. Yes, only one dish should have some spice, but something seemed to be missing. Even the fortune cookies seemed different. I really wanted to like this place but nothing we ate warranted a return trip.

I have a Chinese all over the world different parts of the country. I’m a foodie and I know food quality but this is the best Chinese I’ve ever experienced in my entire life and it was by takeout. That’s how good the chef is I don’t know of any Chinese restaurant within 1000 miles and I’m not exaggerating that is this quality this chef is a hidden secret such a hidden secret. ❤️✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

Had chicken Pad Thai. Different flavor than typical Thai restaurant, but still very very delicious. Sushi was a nice addition as well.

Unfortunately it’s not very good. For some reason St. Clair County has just absolutely awful American/Chinese food. Everything tasted off and the chicken was extremely soggy even though we ate it right after it was cooked. Better than No. 1 China but that place is literally the worst food I’ve ever had. I am going to give this another try however and see if their Japanese cuisine is better and I’ll update my rating and review at that time.
