So happy we found this place! The food is delicious. The pricing is fair for what you get. I wish they were busier. It’s definitely an underrated restaurant. It’s such a cool atmosphere. The servers have been great every time we go. I love the service we get here. Thank youuuu! We will be back soon.

The food needs attention, I Thought I was at a Mexican place, but the fajitas had some sort of weird seasoning and didn’t taste good at all. The Baja tacos were ok nothing fancy but okay. Chips, guac, salsa and queso, again ok, nothing fancy though. The pina colada was nasty to be honest, then the waitress said they were missing the coconut portion, why did you attempt to serve this with missing ingredients? Rather they did serve it and it was tasteless basically. We sent it back. The refried beans were pretty tasty, actually liked them. Oh lastly, the habanero pineapple salsa was just pineapple, no heat at all and it was the third hottest salsa. We will most likely never go back, definitely not my style of cooking. Good luck to those who try it,, maybe it’s your style.

Edit: Has new ownership, worse ingredients, some favorites are off the menu, not as good as it used to be!
This place is just different in a good way. It’s not your basic Mexican food. It has flair we’ll say. Although you do have to pay for queso, it’s probably the best queso in the entire state of Oklahoma. It’s pretty tasty. They have different sides than normal places. This elote is grilled and on or off the cob it’s the best I’ve had, not sour and not smothered in mayonnaise. Cilantro rice is tasty. We’ve been several times and have tried several things. Borracho beans have a little too much beer taste for my liking. Enchiladas are different since it’s cheese enchiladas and they throw the meat on top… kinda weird but I still like them. Just different flavors. Service is hit or miss. Kate was amazing. Complimentary homemade chips and salsa. Rewards system.

Cannot recommend this place enough! When I saw that Chris McKenna had taken it over, I had to try it. My friend and I loved our lunch—fajita chicken and shrimp enchiladas for me and green chile chicken taquitos for her. The tomatillo sauce is the best, spicy in a good way. The salsa verde was good too. The green chile cream sauce was milder but still flavorful. Complimentary chips and salsa were also good. Prices are very reasonable, with lunch specials as well. I have recommended this place to several friends and they all thought it was great and worth the drive!

This used to be one of my favorite places but the new owners have completely changed the menu. They don’t offer flautas anymore and most menu items have changed. The biggest thing for me is that they took away the zero proof alcohol menu. I can’t drink for health reasons and it was always so fun to be able to order non alcoholic drinks that tasted real. I even had my birthday here last year for that reason. The chips and enchiladas are completely different. Half the menu is gone. Staff were mostly different the last time we went, too. The food is still good quality and the queso is great. We will return here because of that. Just bummed about what they’ve taken away. It was a unique date night place because of the 0 proof menu and you can’t find that anywhere else in okc.

I can’t believe we’ve never been here until now. Best fish tacos in town, hands down. The street corn is an absolute must. Everything we had was exceptional. We’ll definitely be back to try everything on the menu.

This used to be one of our favorite places to go. I knew as soon as we sat down that something was very different. Gone are the thick, super delicious freshly made chips and in its place very thin, sub par chips. I ordered the same dish I usually get and was disappointed in the quality of ingredients. They did use to have the most delicious cheeses. My guess is this place has been sold and owners are making changes.

Who’s been sleeping on this place?! Me, that’s me, I have. I was looking for thick warm freshmade chips and rich flavored white queso. I found it! Not only that but I found great service from manager Kate & other robust new flavors. You need to like cheese! Chicken Chili enchiladas were great. ALL the salsas were tasty. If you get bottomless you can try them all & reload on the delicious queso. 2 of us ate for $50, but we had left overs enough for a third person. We didn’t try to save cash this visit, but they had some less expensive options. I like that waffle fries are an option, dipped in queso is bomb! Also a great perk they have 4 TVs in the bar to watch the games. I didn’t drink alcohol, but the drink menu looked nice.

Some times when you try something new – you can be surprised! Usually I love everything I’ve tried, but today was different.
First time I’ve tried the Nachos – definitely recommend! I would say you could order this for two and be happy! Our’s was 1/2 ground beef 1/2 chicken!
I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp – hard pass on this one! The shrimp were over cooked and couldn’t taste the coconut! The zesty slaw & orange-mango sauce would have been a good compliment but the shrimp were just too over cooked.
My wife ordered a single crispy taco which was what she expected it to be!
Overall, this is a great place for Mexican however, I think the Cinco de Mayo celebration may have overloaded the staff. They seemed out of sync, but we were patient and ate our dinner and left since there was a line out the door.
Still a great place and one of my favorite places to dine!

This is my new favorite taco joint. Our server was literally the sweetest! I see people on here complaining about the portion size of the food but I got full off of two tacos and two sides. The prices are reasonable as well. Such a cute place for date night!
