Love this spot. Went after I went to the bath house. I was so relaxed , the food delicious—local ingredients, nourishing food, French cuisine. I got the pear mocktail and chai tea with lemon balm ! The owners were personable and the atmosphere is gorgeous

This place is a new restaurant run by a few gentlemen who recently moved here from France, and it truly shows in the best way. The owner was incredibly kind and genuine, which made the experience even more special.
My husband and I came here for a much-needed date night, and everything about it felt just right. The atmosphere was as charming as the owner himself. You can feel the love and passion poured into every detail of their concept — from the décor, to the food, to the genuine conversation they offer their guests.
If you’re looking for an intimate date night or a relaxed place to gather with friends over amazing food you can truly take your time enjoying, this is absolutely the place for you

Been here 3 times and it’s always delicious and the calming atmosphere puts me in the best mood. Simple and fresh, yet amazingly flavorful – so different from most other meat and potato restaurants in Bozeman. The soups are amazing. I wouldn’t normally think to order soup at a restaurant but here it’s a must. This place is a new local gem.

Came here with our slightly loud toddler and they didn’t even bat an eye at the noise or snacks/toys we had brought to keep him entertained, even offered to let him play with a little drum they had. While they didn’t have high chairs, he was just able to sit between us on a booth-like bench and could still reach the table. The food was amazing, both dinner and dessert! Very cosy place with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

Nissa by Food for Thought is truly something special. The space itself is warm, intimate, and beautifully designed it perfectly complements the relaxing spa experience next door. It feels cozy yet elevated, like a hidden gem you’re so grateful to discover.

The food was absolutely incredible. The butternut squash soup was unforgettable velvety, rich, and deeply comforting with perfectly balanced flavor. You can tell so much care and intention goes into every dish.

It’s such an unexpected treasure to find a restaurant of this quality in Bozeman. Nourishing, thoughtful, and beautifully executed. I can’t recommend Nissa highly enough , we’ll definitely be back

Never had food as good as I’ve had there consistently, and the rotating menu always hits, both casually, after a soak, for takeout, or their events. The Chef and Co-owner Tibo is the greatest and helped me set up a valentines surprise since they have great events too and that was the best date dinner I’ve ever had. Me and my girl couldn’t even talk for a minute

In a word, transcendental. You’re not in Kansas anymore. You’re a weary traveler on the Silk Road, and Nissa is here to soothe your soul. The interior has been meticulously curated to create a relaxing, rejuvenating environment that perfectly complements the post-bathhouse experience.

Menu is very limited, but every single thing I’ve tried has had deliciously balanced, bright flavors, vibrant use of color, and gorgeous plating. The menu also changes every 2-3 weeks to keep everything seasonal, fresh, and fun. Desserts are decadent (and criminally underpriced). Try a tea service or NA cocktail (which I would call ‘Elixirs, given the beautiful, illuminated potion bottles that store them on the bar top), with whatever the dessert menu has to offer.

The fellas that run the show here are friendly, professional, and very passionate about the hospitality they provide.

11/10 experience, unlike anything else in Bozeman. Check it out.

We went to Nissa in January for lunch, and it was such a great experience. We’re definitely foodies, and the food was thoughtful, well-executed, and clearly made with a lot of care.

Pricing felt very reasonable, especially with how much prices have gone up around Bozeman. We tried a little of everything — soups, salads, sandwiches, mocktails, and desserts — and everyone loved what they ordered. My 13-year-old daughter even said the Caesar salad was the best she’s ever had.

I love that they’ll be rotating new menu items every couple of weeks because it gives us a reason to keep coming back often. I’m excited to try their dinner menus!

The atmosphere is warm and calming, and I really appreciate their goal of creating a “digital-free” space — it makes the whole experience feel more present and connected.
