Reviews
Ordering online was easy, the timing was spot on, and the service was excellent. The employees were very polite and pleasant, which always makes the experience even better.
It’s always a pleasure doing business with Bernard’s Pizza. Highly recommend!
Yes, a sauce was missing. That happens. What matters is how it’s handled. Before leaving, I specifically asked the employee if all sauces were in the bag and was told yes. I trusted that answer. I shouldn’t have to dig through my food at the back of a dimly lit parking lot to verify staff did their job correctly.
I was also told at the window the wait would be 8 minutes. It ended up being closer to 17 minutes past the quoted pickup time. Whether the owner wants to argue over the exact number of minutes is irrelevant — the order was late, and that’s simply a fact.
What’s most disappointing is the owner’s decision to respond by blaming the customer, citing camera footage, and lecturing about how busy they were instead of taking responsibility. Being busy is not an excuse for mistakes, and it certainly doesn’t justify publicly scolding a customer for leaving an honest review.
Telling customers they should have picked a different time, checked their food more thoroughly, or contacted management before leaving a review completely misses the point. A review exists precisely because the experience was poor — and the defensive, dismissive response only confirms it.
Mistakes happen. How you handle them matters. This response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and guaranteed I won’t be returning, Mr. Stephen & Mrs. Alicia Bernard.
The response from Alicia the owner below is my exact point. I’m not even trying to get into all of the details of what she’s speaking about nor do I have anything to do with that but the fact that she felt she needed to come on here and respond to me over this, is crazy. She should have just left the discount n the receipt instead of making it such a HUGE deal. Now she’s lost a couple of customers over her unprofessional behavior.
