We stopped in here when we first got to our VRBO. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we went back there three more times. So 4 out of the five days we ate at the Thirsty Turtle. I did not taste anything that was not good.

The blackened grouper was absolutely delicious and so was the side of mashed sweet potatoes. The fish dip was equally as delicious. I cannot rate the coleslaw as I was too full to eat it but it looked delicious.

Head Chef Temo absolutely exceeded expectations! He prepared the 2-dinner 5-piece chicken strips for me and Les Nackman, and without a doubt, they were the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and served fresh. You can tell real care and skill went into the preparation.

If I could give zero stars I would. The service started out good, server was very nice and was being polite to our daughters. Got the peel and eat shrimp and it was served to us with the line (poop) inside. Asked the server if that’s how the restaurant serves it and his answer was “it depends on the kitchen”. So if whether or not the cook feels like doing it or not. Being in the restaurant industry myself that is a terrible way to run a restaurant. He did take it back and removed it from our check. But once he took our plate back his attitude completely changed towards us. Very unprofessional. We spent $80 on food and the only thing that was pleasant were my kids hot dog and fries. It’s a shame because it’s in the perfect spot and Juno is so beautiful.

I went for dinner on trivia night made for an interesting solo dinner. I had the coconut shrimp. It came with two sides. More food than i needed. Coleslaw was not great pretty boring but shrimp were delicious. I would order again. Loved getting American Airlines Loyalty Points. Mashed sweet potatoes were pretty good. Was a nice meal.

I had the chicken bowl. Sounds pretty simple and basic. I expected pretty simple and basic. What I received was absolutely incredible. It was by far the best “bowl” type meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. I will think about that meal for a very long time, maybe forever. Can’t wait to go back

We had an excellent meal for dinner after a long day getting situated for the winter season in Florida. The food and service were excellent. All the food was fresh and served hot. The French Fries were exceptional. It was so nice to enjoy a relaxing evening in a very informal setting. There are a lot of TV screens if you want to watch any sports to keep yourself occupied while the rest of your family engages in “family dynamics”

I’m not sure why this place was busy and had high reviews. Yes, the service is very friendly and the order came out fast. But the fish was very old and had a strong chemical taste. AND it was the “catch of the day!”
We ended up with bathroom issues after eating there. I wonder if that’s why I saw so many other people headed to the restroom also. I feel bad because our server was great but we’re never going back.

Great local spot if you live in the area or visiting. Atmosphere and staff is/are incredible. So much fun. Super friendly bartenders, hosts and waitresses/waiters.
If you’re not in Palm Beach Gardens a little bit out of the way. But, if you want to be around locals and learn about the area (specially if you’re on vacation, a must go to spot.

Thirsty Turtle is located in Juno Beach, but we tried this Loxahatchee location. Restaurant was clean, girl and guy servers were so polite and helpful. We felt welcomed. Ordered and got our food pretty quickly. Wings were outstanding and appetizers delicious. Thanks for a perfect night out.
