The hidden best breakfast in town – wide variety of options from scrambles to avocado toast to bi-bim bowl, and excellent espresso bar drinks. The best smoothies you’ll find, and a wide variety of GF options and scratch-made baked goods, quiche, soups. Slow when it’s busy, but find a less crowded time and you’re in for treat.

So adorable. Friendly, amazing energy from owner who can do 5 things at once and smile. Food was quick, hot, and yummy and portions are generous. Interesting menu of comfort as well as several creative, tasty unique offerings.
The line went so fast! I still hadn’t had a chance to absorb all of the choices. Prices are from pre-Covid/tariffs. Thanks for that.
Peace out!

Hands down my favorite local cafe. I’m picky about baked goods. Slate’s are always, *ALWAYS* on point. We are heading into the holiday season as I write this, but in the summer this is the place you want to get your lemonade. I would truly buy it by the gallon it’s perfection. Ooh ooh, also the soup!! So very delicious. I’d take that by the gallon too!
An all around great spot. The staff is spectacular, the cafe itself is very tidy, but so inviting. I love getting to see the rotation of featured local art while I wait for my order. I’m so happy it’s just a hop skip and a jump away.
Whatever magic it is you’re doing, keep it up Slate Cafe!!

We had breakfast here during our stay on vacation. I ordered the breakfast sausage wrap which I felt was my favorite wrap of our stay, the sausage was tasty, the wrap was crunchy, the cheese was melty and the eggs were done nicely. It was seasoned well and overall a good wrap!
My wife got a very simple two egg breakfast and it was good. She really liked the Italian bread she got, the tea wasn’t her favorite but overall a great option for breakfast!

I live in locally and try to support local businesses as much as possible. I woke up early so I could stop in Slate cafe right after they opened on a Saturday morning. I got a blueberry pancake iced latte and a customized 3 egg everything bagel with cheese. The latte was good (it’s always risky when ordering flavored drinks) but I probably wouldn’t order it again. But the breakfast sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. Eggs perfectly cooked over medium, bagel perfectly toasted. Service was great and the environment inside is cool. You can see pride in ownership when you walk in the door. Tons of baked good options if you are into that sort of thing. Keep up the great work! I will stop back in!

Atmosphere was everything, I love downtown Lititz. The food was ok, French toast was super dry! Latte was great, portions are big, service is good. I would go back I just wouldn’t get the French toast, the presentation was beautiful thought

Our first visit to Slate and we loved it! I tried the baked oatmeal, another first and it was delicious! My husband had the breakfast sandwich, which he loved! I’m also a tea drinker and they had bagged loose tea! So good! Next time we are in Lititz, we will be sure to be stopping at Slate!

Definitely my top 3 favorite places for breakfast and lunch! I am a regular here:)
Super good food, love their chai lattes too and tea options. Always lots of specials and new things to try!
Cute atmosphere with plants and the music choices are awesome too.
I never had a bad experience with customer service either. I am always excited to come back.
It’s very stuffy inside but I heard that’s being addressed.

My daughter and I stopped by this adorable cafe while on a day trip to Lititz. The young woman who took care of us was so sweet and kind. She prepared what I am pretty sure was THE best Americano I have ever had. The apple crumble was outstanding as was the slice of banana bread that my daughter enjoyed. We will definitely be back the next time we visit your beautiful town.
