Thai lunch special it is. We tried the drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice. Loved the clean modern interior. Service was fast. Dishes were good enough for 1 person and tasted pretty good. Great flavor. Good Thai food.

Ordered the beef thai basil and guess what? Just gave five pieces of meat and it’s all just bell peppers.. they are charging so much money for this dish and not giving any meat. Never ordering again.

On our quest to find shrimp deep fried in eggroll wrappers aka shrimp mermaid for my son, we decided to have dinner here.
First, no shrimp mermaids lol. But they have shrimp wrapped in egg noodles and then deep fried. Not the same thing. I enjoyed them but my felt there was too much egg noodles. Wound up taking most of it off and eating the shrimp.
I got the massaman curry and it tasted great! I enjoyed it and there was plenty for leftovers.
Wifey got the pad see ew with beef. She said it was okay. But it was mainly because she likes her beef crispy and charred. lol. I thought the beef was tasty. The taste reminded me of Korean kalbi. Plenty of leftovers there too.
Atmosphere was okay. When we arrived for dinner there were no other customers. Sat anywhere we wanted. But there were plenty of seating and it was clean inside.
Service was good. Quick. Not necessarily friendly but professional. Brought us water and the food came out in relatively short time. When asking to pack up the leftovers they brought out containers to the table and packed it for us. When paying by card they had a portable card scanner on them.
I wouldn’t mind coming back. But because they don’t have shrimp mermaids and don’t charr their beef, we will most likely continue on our quest elsewhere.

Beautiful renovation and I am suspecting a new chef or management because the food taste is different and better than before. Definitely will be back for the dinning experience.

My maiden visit this weekend was for a take-away. Place was cavernous – and crowded! Easily the largest Thai place I’ve been to. Can’t comment on service. Can comment on the food – lip smacking lay delicious! The beef satay was a well executed variation of the usual in chicken. The green curry, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, and Basil Chicken all hit the spot. Looking forward to dining in the next time!

*Edit* our second visit was a dine-in. Once again, we loved it! Great spacious interior, lots of tables. Seated promptly. Food tastes amazing as before, more amazing when eaten fresh and not as a take out. We repeated the pad thai and green curry. Also added a pad see ew, Thai calamari, papaya salad, fried rice, and one of the stir fries. Every dish was amazing. Would love to repeat.

Since the closing of our, (my family and everyone we know), our favorite thai restaurant, I’ve tried DOZENS of thai spots in nassau and Suffolk in the last few years and nothing has come remotely close. Maybe for a specific dish here and there but not all around. When I ordered the other night I was very hesitant based on the 4 stars but then I remembered our old spot was the same way cuz the woman running the place wasn’t exactly the most hospitable. So I gave it a shot and oh man am I glad I did. The tom yum soup is the closest I’ve ever had to our old spots. Its phenomenal and has HUGE shrimp in it. And although its not necessarily cheap its def not as expensive as some places, like a place that just opened in levittown. Their prices are insane so I’ve kept looking. I also got beef pad see ew with mushrooms which I was a little let down with. It looked amazing and the container was packed full but when I took the first bite it was really lacking flavor and sauce, fresh tasting it just needed a littttle more flavor. I saved it overnight which is usually the worst thing you can do with those noodle dishes, they turn to a giant block. But for some reason this one after nuking in the microwave came out loose & delicious (and I added a lite mixture of my thai sauces I keep at home). That changed my whole opinion combined with the tom yum soup. I will definitely be ordering again very soon and the biggest test next will be the Mu Yang Takrai (pork chops grilled and marinated in garlic, lemongrass, galangal, lime juice…etc). We used to drool over it at our old spot and we’d order as appetizer when dining in and take out. So im hoping it exceeds my expectations and is full of flavor, not dry, and has that slight bit of char. With all that being said, as a thai food obsessed person as u can see, im glad to have found lemonleaf grill.

This place has amazing food. NO doubt abt that. I have always done take out from here. We decided to dine in the other day and loved the food. The place is quite nice as well.

The only problem I experienced was when we had a food take out, they serve in a box that leaked all over my car seat. I was expecting plastic container for the food with curry but….

Also the server didnt talk till the time of payment and taking tips. No greetings or nothing. I will just continue a takeout instead of dine-in.

We came here expecting authentic Thai food, but compared to other places we’ve tried, this was disappointing. Every dish was overly sweet, even though we requested the highest spice level. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone who loves spicy food.
