The egg and bacon and cheese within a croissant was melting my heart. Warmly delicious choice highly recommended.

It seems like many people have about the same experience. Slightly sad, expensive food. I’ll give the staff a little credit because there was a rush after the ferry came in, but the whole staff was a bit stand-offish and dismissive. The food was good if not a little sad looking, but it made do for a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee.

I have frequented this place probably more than I should. I have just gone through the reviews and, my experience yesterday was similar to others. The staff were there to hangout with one another, My patronage and my food order was an interruption of their “hang time”. The chowder was cold, the Grilled sandwich was soggy, and the salad should have been tossed into the trash bin. I hate that I tipped them. But they get you, when you have to pay first, so if you don’t tip, well in this case? Tip or no tip, they were just there for a paycheck.

I was waiting for a ferry to Nantucket and needed a sandwich.I got a veggie wrap on whole wheat that was loaded with beautiful fresh veggies and hummus. It was delicious. The paper napkins was heavy weight and thick, and the plastic tableware was substantial, and the service was cheerful and friendly. It is obvious that somebody cares about every part of the experience here

I had a very delicious breakfast while waiting for my boat.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. I asked them to offer me something with lots of meat and I don’t regret listening to them.
Cozy place with nice people. Definitely coming back

Employee booted me and an elderly couple into the rainstorm to close up with the early closing. I understand closing due to weather but she was very rude about it and i felt particularly bad for the couple.

Coffee in the morning at the coffee shop was great and cordial, so I stopped by again for dinner and a drink at the restaurant and loved it. The bartender and other staff member were both very friendly and gave great service. Loved the spinach salad, and my Cape Codder was made with top shelf vodka. Clearly everyone there was enjoying themselves.
Five stars is for food quality, atmosphere, and service. It’s not high society dining, but that isn’t their deal. For what they aim to be, it’s an A+.
It was nice to hear that the staff spoke highly of the owners as well. It shines through in the service.

My 11 year old son asked for a over easy egg on a lightly toasted bagel and the bagel came out burnt so he asked for a light toasted one. Young girl with glasses behind the counter gave us a hard time saying toaster toasts fast. She took it back and follows up with saying to the chef in front of me, “just dont toast it”. Also when my son was ordering his breakfast bagel, he orders his egg over easy and the same girls says under her breath, “who gets over easy on a breakfast bagel anyways”. Well we the customer do and that should be all that matters. Young and immature but shouldn’t be working at a place like that as it can harm your business. Others employees were very pleasant just not her. Management needs to address her and move on without her as she was very rude.

I went there for Lunch, Service was friendly and fast. I started with the Clam Chowder, which was great, and then had the fish sandwich, which was even better. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal or just a few drinks. They have a “to go” area also, so that folks can grab something quick while catching the ferry. I grabbed a cup of coffee for the road. Also, there is a rooftop bar! A great spot.
