Reviews
TL;DR:
Spent the night and half the day today feeling unwell and made the bathroom our temporary nest.
The Good:
Friendly staff.
The chef was very entertaining and polite.
That’s where the good ends, unfortunately.
The Bad, the Ugly, and Straight-Up Horror:
When we went in around 8, they told us to wait until they cleaned up the hibachi table that had just opened since it would take too long for a clean hibachi table to warm up. No problem.
While they were clearing the table, I noticed them repeatedly going to a bucket that was sitting on the floor to rinse out the rag they used to clean the table. I have no clue how long that bucket of water had been sitting there, but they rinsed the same rag a few times and continued wiping down the table.
The party that used the same table before us had a bunch of food all over the table, so I’m not sure how much of that food ended up at the bottom of the bucket. No other cleaning supplies or rag changes were part of that process, just one rag and the same bucket of water.
That should have been the red flag that made us walk out, but we were young and naive.
They used the same bucket of water to clear the next table as well. Not sure if the same rag made an appearance.
The food tasted pretty good and didn’t smell or have any noticeable issues while we were eating. Our toddler started getting fussy, so we boxed it up and dropped off our goddaughter before heading home. We all live only 5-8 mins from the restaurant, and we ate our boxed up food as soon as we got home. So I know it couldn’t have spoiled during the short trip home.
Not only did my wife and I feel unwell, but so did our goddaughter, whom we picked up on the way to the restaurant. If it were just people from one household, I would have probably chalked it up to something else and wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review. However, since 3 people from 2 different households got sick and the only common denominator was this restaurant, I am inclined to believe this establishment was the cause.
I will also be contacting the health department so they can take a closer look at their cleaning practices.

Entree: Brunch Chicken Hibachi with double rice no veggies this time.
The staff immediately offered to hold on to the cake we brought for a birthday.
Service was prompt and professional. Food was great and the prices were fair.
Will return.
