Costillas de res muy Rico! Beef rib is unbelievable. Tender and juicy with a delicious reduction sauce and perfectly seasoned broccoli that’s crisp yet tender. I have had some of the best beef rib preparations in the world from Killers smoked ribs to aged beef and everything in between. I’m probably not the best beef rib connoisseur in the world, but I’m far from the worst. This beef rib stands among some of the best I’ve ever had.

Vegan review:
⭐⭐ Unsweetened ice tea: more bitterness than I like.
⭐⭐⭐ Salsa: is as good as any other place like it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Guacamole: onion livers are in for a treat! Onions and lime are the stars of this show
⭐⭐⭐ Pinto beans: I was told they have no meat.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mexican Rice: I was told it had no meat, it surprisingly had carrots in it but it wasn’t a turn off.
⭐⭐⭐ Vegetable burrito (no cheese & no sour cream): the sauce on top was thicker than expected but it was fine. The vegetables inside were enjoyable but something was off about it, I don’t know what.

They have good food. I really enjoy the enchiladas, and the price is good, nice size portion. Big bar in the back and lots of table and booth sitting, never seen it uncomfortablly crowded. Be kind, some of the girls have an accent

The prices are the same as two other local spots but the food is not as good. Bland guac. Only the salsa and chips were good. I love the vibe, really feels like Mexico inside, partly because there are often a few Mexican patrons at the bar and the service is friendly. Sadly, although this is the closest to my home, I’ll only be going to Villa Maya and the little place on Twinbrook Pkwy behind Peak Releaf going forward. Taste and freshness matter when it comes to food.

It says Mexican restaurant so I ordered tamales expecting mexican tamales, but they are salvadorian. The flavor was good but not what I wanted. My husband had steak nachos and he liked them. I had the pollo de gallina and it was delicious.

DO NOT COME HERE! As said in other post they don’t not speak English a blare the music. The English part doesn’t bother me one bit, it’s more so the fact we were treated poorly because we could not speak Spanish. When it comes to food in the photos below the refried bean were basically just canned whole beans, the “queso dip” is just melted velveta type cheese where it literally just blobs together and you can’t even scoop it with a chip. The verde enchiladas were okay but everything else was horrible.

This a a solid spot, sure the service can be super slow sometimes but who cares, grab a beer and talk until the food comes. The food is always good, the ceviche, pupusas, and the lomo saltado are my favs to grab. Plus a Heineken.

THIS is NOT MEXICAN Food at all, the food has no flavor the guacamole was is horrible! They don’t even know what refried beans are! I’m Mexican so I know what Mexican food should taste like. This is Central American food, call it for what it is,so that people know what to expect. Service was slow, and the music is nice, but sooo loud… Won’t go back

Respectfully, the food was decent, but expect to be frustrated. It wasn’t even that busy & they took a long time. 30mins for 2 tacos is crazy. I wasn’t greeted at the door. One of the waitresses was making out with someone… hella ghetto. No professionalism at all!
The place wasn’t clean, which was an easy red flag. Bathroom was horrible. Low key felt disrespected bc I didn’t speak Spanish. If I’m not sick in the morning I won’t call the health department. The guacamole wasn’t even fresh! It was brown as hell, I felt so disrespected when they brought it in front of me. Music was so loud, I felt it in my stomach, very unnecessary & no one was dancing just loud which made it awkward??? Idk I won’t be coming back. COME HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Came here to eat with my family. Place was busy cause Cinco de mayo. The atmosphere was nice neat clean way different from the spot in langley park. The burrito seafood taste really good ,tacos de carne. We also ordered tacos de Birria the waitress suggested that was the special of the day. The horchata was good. There was a DJ playing nice music. The service of the restaurant was nice the employees were friendly even though it took them a long time to bring the food but we had patience. I definitely recommend this restaurant this location for your family, friends wife and kids.
