I ordered takeout, so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere or service. Unfortunately, the food itself left a lot to be desired. I originally wanted the curry fish, but they were out, so I ended up getting the fried snapper instead.

The portion size was good — the plate was a decent size, and the side of rice and beans was plentiful. However, the flavor just wasn’t there. The mac and cheese and the rice were basically tasteless, and while the fish was cooked well, it wasn’t very flavorful either.

I also tried the red velvet cake, which tasted like it came straight from a box mix — definitely not worth the price. The only thing that stood out even a little was the cabbage, but even that was pretty bland.

Overall, the portions were fine, but the lack of flavor made the meal disappointing and not worth what I paid.

Food use to be really good. The last 3 times at least that I’ve been, trying to have a forgiveness, I have not been at all satisfied. Oxtails seemed to be dried and overcooked. Previously the rice tasted spoiled. But for the price paid and the quality of the food is disappointing. Very unfortunate. However the staff is always nice

Great food and good size servings. We also got some juice they made which was great. I recommend the curry goat.

Absolutely amazing! Jerk chicken, white rice and cabbage;ox tail, rice n peas, cabbage; garlic shrimp, rice, mac n cheese; beef patty.

That was my first time trying oxtail. I was nervous, but now I will be adding that to my list of favorites! The rice n peas went so good with it. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Let’s just say I’ve been to 2 other Jamaican restaurants in the area, but this is now my favorite of them all. I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to! The Missus of the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. I felt a warmth of good energy coming from her. The food is phenomenal and you get very large portions for the money. I will definitely be back!

I wish I had checked the reviews first but I was hungry and craving some oxtails! I’m in town for a couple weeks for training for my job so i decided to explore.

I will start off by saying the service was definitely great. Thank you for that.

But the food was not good. The Mac n cheese was hard on the top and the oxtails were tough. For the price of oxtails I expect phenomenal quality. I was very disappointed in the food.

I have been craving some good Caribbean cuisine. I’ve been here in Anderson since 3/11. I spotted them off the road otw to the bank. I’m glad I came back. Oxtails, the cabbage, and that Rasta Pasta all were some of the best I’ve had. I’ll be back for sure.

We tried the jerk chicken, curried goat, and oxtails with mac and cheese, cabbage, Rasta pasta, rice and peas, chicken patty and beef patties. The pasta didn’t look like the pictures. The cabbage was hard and a little bland. The chicken patty had very little meat. The beef patties were mushy. Overall, it was just okay.
