My wife order chicken fried chicken dinner looked good but there was way more breading than chicken. I ordered chicken fried chicken breakfast and same thing more breading then chicken. Server was good and polite. Will not go back here also the chicken was very thin like they cut the breast into three slices

This was one of the worst places we have been to in a long time! I don’t understand how it’s getting good reviews. I want to start off by saying the elderly waitress we had was very sweet and was really trying. The food came out cold and the biscuit was clearly old and had been warmed up in the microwave. We ordered over easy eggs and were brought scrambled. The skillet had one piece of bacon and a few pieces of ham (it was supposed to be loaded with meat). There was a table of young kids that belonged to one of the workers or the owner that kept going in and out of the kitchen and making tons of noise. We couldn’t eat our food due to it being cold. We will not be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my late lunch here. I had chicken and waffles. Super thick and fluffy waffles. Portions were great I’m stuffed. Waitress was super nice and accommodating. Shout out to Dakota

Of the Madison restaurants I have visited, this location on South Western is by far the best. A very spacious dining area with tables and booths. Service is top tier. Let’s get down to meat of the matter, the cook was the best I have experienced. I ordered the French toast and eggs “over easy”, and bacon on the side. The eggs were “Perfect”. The French toast, was the best I have ever had. Crispy and light. The bacon not overly smoked was lean and crisp. Truly, the cook was a master. My fellow attendees also commented on the delicious platters of food they ordered.
This is the third time our group has dined at this location. My only complaint was the 3% added to my debit card. A minor problem. I highly recommend this place.

What a gem!
I drive by all the time, but never went to try until yesterday. Was only able to get to go, so my pictures aren’t very pretty but it was SO GOOD.
Their meat is so flavorful! They were so kind and let me do a mix of meat because I wanted to try both. I wish I had a picture of the baklava, but that was long gone.
The hummus was delicious and a large portion too! Everything is priced fair and portions are good. Will definitely be back soon!
The only downside is the rice, it was very bland.

Got there at opening so no problem with seating. Big open space so could get noisy.
Clean. Decent selection. Does have senior discounts. We just got eggs bacon toast and oatmeal.

I wanted to love the food but it was really just okay. There wasn’t much flavor to anything. The chicken was hard, Beef was decent but again, no flavor. The sauce had zero flavor. For about $20 per person, I’ll pass. The people there are very nice and the restaraunt is clean. I hope I just came in an off day because it seems like a fantastic place. With the outstanding Mediterranean food we have in the city, this one’s going to need to up their game.

Great place to have Breakfast or lunch (Brunch) on a Sunday after church. Staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good. I typically have breakfast, but their hamburgers are very tasty and flavorful. I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger with a side of their homemade chicken noodle soup.

Very relaxed. Amazing food. Awesome prices. Insanely good desert. Always fresh. Definitely not your cookie cutter restaurant by any means. Everything tastes unique and has its own special spin on every food, no matter the type. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

I waited after going here a handful of times before reviewing. The food here is always tasty & the restaurant seems clean. Our visits have been on Saturday evenings & our only issue really is with the server. She’s very soft spoken, so it’s difficult to hear her. If you have a question, she most likely doesn’t know the answer & doesn’t offer to go find out. She just doesn’t seem to be super familiar with the menu or how things work in the kitchen. The first couple visits we thought maybe she was new, but its been months now. If she’d take the time to be more knowledgeable it would save us confusion & frustration. The one time a couple of us visited for lunch during the week, the ladies were super on top of things & really knew what they were doing! All in all, we like Madison’s & will continue to visit. Maybe the kitchen staff could just work with the weekend dinner server to get her up to speed. That would be fantastic!
