I highly recommend going somewhere else. Nothing special about the menu. I waited over 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, and found 4 strands of hair. It was take out so I didn’t think it was worth going back to wait another 20 minutes for another sandwich, south possibly more hair. There was what seemed like avocado in my bacon, egg and cheese so those with dietary restrictions, probably not a safe option here. The apple coffee cake was okay, not bad but not anything to go out of your way for either.

One of my favorite stops in Bar Harbor! They have so many baked goods, as well as a ton of coffee, sandwiches, etc. The service was great and I loved that there was seating. We tried two of their breakfast sandwiches, and while expensive, they were delicious. The raspberry scone was also delicious and one of the few Ive had that wasn’t dry. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to stop a second time!

Such an amazing place! Great food, coffee and pastries! My Husband and I went almost everyday we were here! We even got a cake from them for our wedding in Acadia! It was perfect!
We came to Acadia National Park to get married and the Thursday before our wedding (a Saturday) we were going around to local bakeries to try some desserts to try and pick one for our after wedding dinner with our family. We went to Mount Dessert Bakery for the first time after a waiter at another restaurant said they had a great bakery. We tried a cake they had on display, a chocolate coconut with cream cheese frosting, and it was amazing! So we talked to them about getting a whole cake for our wedding. They were so nice, gave us a sheet with all the flavors and combinations available. We got a lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting. They were amazing and able to get us our cake in time and it was delicious, Absolutely beautiful and everything we could have ever wanted! Such an amazing and wonderful place!

Best bakery and coffee shop in Bar Harbor! Every drink was delicious! All not too sweet with great flavoring (got peppermint mocha, chai, and gingerbread). Amazing sourdough bread as the base for a delicious roast beef sandwich with fresh toppings and delicious aiolis! Can’t wait to try other sandwiches too! Delicious ginger bread cookies with the perfect snap and flavors. Light fluffy and buttery croissant filled with chocolate! All around the right stop for drinks, pastries, and coffee! Cozy atmosphere with good seating and very friendly staff.

We stopped in here on a Tuesday morning in mid-November for breakfast and coffee after checking out the bar island path. Not many places in Bar Harbor are open this time of year but luckily we happened to find this coffee shop. The food was good and the coffee was nice and hot. We sat at a small table by the window. The place was clean and the atmosphere was easy going. Prices were reasonable. We walked from the hotel we stayed at but I think it would be street parking if you drive. Plenty of parking spots open in November!

Cute little cafe with seating inside. We came here for breakfast before heading out to Acadia Park.
They had a wide selection of pastries for breakfast and of a reasonable portion. All of it was tasty. The coffee was pre brewed and you have to get it yourself. The latte was good.
We had the blueberry oat bar which was very yummy and gluten free. We had a slice of the Earl grey pound cake. The danish pastry was our favorite treat.
I would definitely come back for other pastries. Everything looked so good.
