I’d call this an experience than just going to get brunch. Build time in, you’ll want to spend it here. The coffee is ever flowing as the flaky pastries hold you over til the main entrée comes out. Also, some gorgeous country sourdough loaves to take home for the week. The owner and Host often makes her rounds checking in. Check it out, spend some time here. Highly recommend.

So delicious!! The chocolate coffee pie was amazing! Not too sweet, balanced and decadent. Egg and ham on biscuit fed both of us while the sourdough is perfect. Also picked up local lavender and asparagus. We look forward to our next visit. P. S. They are totally handling the covid-19 precautions!!

We randomly stumbled upon this place on our way back to whitefish and I can say that without a doubt, their sourdough is the BEST I have ever had. If you’re in the area, you must grab one. I didn’t try any of their other baked goods but I so wish I had! My husband got the bison bone broth and said it was also the best broth he’s ever had.

There is good reason why people drive over an hour to get here for brunch. The food is delicious and locally grown/raised, the baked goods are always delicious, and the atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable.
Its worth the trip!!

☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
The people who bought this place shut down the restaurant, the community garden, everything that WAS the “Dixon Mercantile” now I guess it’s supposed to be a catering business…. That’s always closed☹️It’s sad that one of THE ONLY places for someone to go eat in our community, is now gone. Hopefully, I’m going to change that soon ☕

We always enjoyed the road trip from Missoula to the Dixon Mercantile, but I think our most recent visit will be our last.
The employee at the counter was clearly in no mood to interact with customers. While I totally understand that we all have rough days, she was rude to every person she assisted (myself included).
We ordered cinnamon rolls, cookies, and buckwheat Nutella brownies. The brownies were delicious, but the cinnamon rolls and cookies were clearly overbaked. The cinnamon rolls were so dry that we ended up throwing a third of them away.

EVERYTHING HERE IS DELICIOUS! Fresh baked goods, housemade gravys and sauces with locally sourced produce, meats, cheeses, and even coffee. This place will make your brunch dreams come true. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and the place itself is crazy cozy with soft music, cool art, and a wood burning stove.

Absolutely delicious food! I ate the bison biscuits and was SO pleasantly surprised. I am originally from the south and the biscuits were the best I’ve EVER had! Highly recommend for the amazing food and the absolutely exceptional service.
