Mazatlán Mexican Restaurant – King City, OR

Mazatlán is one of those small, local Mexican restaurants that really captures the warmth of a neighborhood spot. The service here is consistently excellent — friendly, fast, and genuine. Every time I’ve visited, the staff has gone out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of, which really makes a difference these days.
The food itself is very good, with generous portions that make it easy to share or take home leftovers. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and the menu offers all the classics — tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas — with dependable quality and good presentation. It’s not fancy dining, but it’s solid, satisfying comfort food that hits the spot.
The atmosphere is cozy and casual, more on the small side, which adds to its charm but can make it feel a little tight when it’s busy. My only real complaint — and the reason for four stars instead of five — is the margaritas. They look impressive, especially the big ones, but they’re far too watered down for the price. A little more flavor and kick would really elevate the experience.
Still, overall Mazatlán is a great local gem for a friendly meal, excellent service, and dependable Mexican food in King City.

Moved to the area over a year ago and finally made our way here. Food is good and the service was great. Yes, it is a little pricey but the portion of food was also great so no complaints there. I am not used to having the tip automatically added to the bill so that took me by surprise but it was ok with us. Will be going back to try other dishes.

Great food, great service in a great location! Friendly and efficient staff. Drove by so many times and finally stopped in for lunch and did not disappoint. Great value for your money on the lunch menu, ample food selection. Definitely recommend!

Food was a bit blan and over priced. I got fajita plate and was disappointed with both the fajitas and the rice. They do serve it on a steaming hot plat, so the presentation is great, but food lacked flavor.

A reasonably priced affair. Traditional wide selection of Hispanic entrees. Lightning fast service. Two different salsas for the chips. The meals are definitely big enough that you and a guest can split one and go home feeling pleasantly satisfied.
