I came to Xoxo sushi bar for the first time and had the salmon and cranberry as well as the chef choice nigiri and I have to say it was one my favorite meals in a long time. The food has the perfect balance in flavor and I was so impressed with the variety of fish used that I never tasted before. I will definitely be back many more times!!

As close to an authentic omakase experience as it gets outside of Japan. The quality of the food (texture + flavor) as well as the presentation were all mind blowing. Service was also great. Dan was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu, being able to give a detailed description about each item he was asked about. Same & Q killed it at the bar too! I’m definitely coming back!

Wow! Completely blown away by Xoxo! We had such an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the service was genuinely attentive (and really fun!) without being overbearing. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — you can really tell how much care goes into every dish. The quality cannot be beat. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the quality and the overall experience so perfectly. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a special meal.

We just visited this restaurant hoping for a memorable meal, but overall it was a bit underwhelming. The food was okay—fresh fish and decent quality, but nothing that really blew us away in terms of flavor. We were expecting more exciting or creative combinations, and it just didn’t quite deliver.
On top of that, the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter wasn’t particularly attentive or helpful, and a special request for a birthday candle on dessert was completely forgotten. To add to the disappointment, the prices were really steep for what we got—particularly the dessert, which, despite having a little drizzle or garnish, basically felt like a single scoop of mango ice cream for $20.
All in all, it wasn’t the worst meal we’ve had, but it definitely didn’t live up to the price or the occasion.

I cannot remember the last dining experience I had that delighted me as much as our dinner at xoxo sushi. The space is incredible, it really sets the tone for a vibrant evening. Let me rave about the Mai Pleasure, their take on a Mai Tai, it was incredibly balanced, not too sweet, a touch of savory, and gorgeously adorned. But the real showstopper here is the food, and lucky for us we got to sit at the sushi counter right near Chef Kegan, who is clearly passionate and precise with his craft while bringing a playful and joyful element to the experience. Our servers and other chefs were all knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly – from top to bottom our night was spectacular. Can’t wait to go back!

Last night I found my new favorite sushi spot in the Boston area. XOXO Sushi Bar was arguably the best culinary experience I’ve had all year. The atmosphere is lively and energetic and the restaurants’ attention to detail was very impressive. Between the temaki rolls, wagyu burger and dessert, everything was out of this world delicious and left me speechless. I cannot recommend this place enough!! BEST SUSHI IN BOSTON!! Also our waiter Dan took care of us and did an incredible job! I cannot wait for my next visit!

We sat at the bar and were assisted throughout the evening by Zenish who was a great tour guide for our evening. Every recommendation he made was spot on. We eat sushi regularly but it is still in a lot of ways new to us, having help on what to choose and the order in which to choose it was just amazing.

Finally had the chance to stop by XOXO Sushi Bar, and it absolutely did not disappoint. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, including Keegan, the executive chef. He was not only knowledgeable and passionate about the food but also went above and beyond by offering to do a chef’s selection for us. Every dish was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere was equally impressive, with great music that added to the overall vibe. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into every detail here. I will most definitely be back again soon. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
