By far my favorite option for Chinese in the Rock Hill area. Better flavor & indoor seating than other places. Portions are good without being excessive. Everyone I’ve taken has enjoyed their food over other places in the area. My personal favorite is the chicken lettuce wraps (w/o peppers!). Parking is tight, but worth the effort.

We were weary travlers looking for some good Chinese food along I77. Delicacy didn’t disappoint. The food was awesome as well as the service. I look forward to coming back when we are in the area next time. 5 Stars.

This was one of the BEST Chinese food experiences I have ever had. The food was not only absolutely delicious but everything was piping hot, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Vegetables were fresh and delicious. We had egg rolls and crab Rangoon to start- let me tell you, the flavor of these rolls!! Amazing! Then entrees were huge- we had orange chicken and shaking beef. The chicken had big pieces of tender chicken cooked to crispy perfection and the beef and vegetables were tender with an absolutely delicious savory sauce. Service was quick, polite and with a smile. Couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait to go back! Thanks Delicacy!

I can’t believe I never checked out this place ’til now…

The place was small with a simple decor…but seemingly clean, with great A/C. Also, as their name implied (“Bistro”), the place is Americanized, with American pop overhead music. However, all-out authentic Chinese food! Not super-fancy, but this might be THE only Chinese restaurant in Rock Hill with some semblance of ambiance…so YAY for that!

I stopped in to try their Singapore Rice Noodle and Edamame (Spicy)…and both were surprisingly good! Not only fresh and delicious, but very generous in portion, and modestly priced. Presentation wasn’t bad either!

Somehow, I just didn’t expect good food here…and even more so, nicely presented foods. I expected rough, slapstick Chinese fast food…but the foods seemed pretty upscaled, with good presentation even! Very surprising…especially for Rock Hill standards. Frankly, it’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in Rock Hill…on par with the Chinese foods in Charlotte (and beyond). Given the comfy dining ambiance, it’s probably the nicest too.

Service was super-friendly and attentive as well…and the foods came out fresh, piping hot in a timely manner.

Given what I’ve experienced today, I can’t believe the ratings here are so low. Again, this has to be the best Chinese restaurant in Rock Hill. Everything else in town is Chinese fast food…some of which are priced higher than what’s delivered here. For instance, I noticed that their lunch specials are below 9 bucks!! There’s no way other Chinese restaurants (Chinese fast foods!) in Rock Hill should have higher ratings than here! For the items I ordered today…Edamame (Spicy) and Singapore Rice Noodles, they both deserved 5 stars! YUM!!

Anyway, so glad I checked out the place…and am sure to return, for both take-out and dining in!

We had a fabulous birthday dinner recently at Delicacy. We ordered the full duck with pancakes and side veggies. We also ordered Beef and Scallops and Moo Shu Pouch with Tofu. These were all spiced appropriately. We appreciated that they did not have too much sauce as most Chinese American restaurants do. The service at this little spot is top notch! I did not once wonder where my server was. I think this is unheard of these days! They gladly gave us extra in house hot mustard and chili oil. We will be visiting again very soon. Thank you for making our birthdays one to remember!!

Update: We ate inside for dinner and I did ask for fewer vegetables because I hate being wasteful when I know others struggle sometimes with food security. Very happy with the portion size and my request was definitely met. I really enjoy the quality and taste of the rice here definitely 5+ stars and even better its consistently amazing. Drinks are bottled, but they bring you glasses with ice so it was still nice, just be aware its a set amount of soda. Also the server checked on us more often then we needed, but I must say they were super kind and thoughtful. Really enjoyed still getting fortune cookies at the end of our meals. Overall I would give this place a 4.5 / 5 for consistently great food and a kind staff.

Wayyyy too many vegetables in this lunch order of mongolian chicken and fried rice! Some veggies are okay but there shouldnt be a 1/3 chicken to 2/3 veggie ratio when I didnt actually order vegetables. 4.5 star flavor, 5 star rice, 3 stars for 1/3 portion of chicken 🙁

I dined at Delicacy Chinese in Rock Hill, where the experience exceeded my expectations. The restaurant serves American-Cantonese style cuisine, and parking was a breeze—free and ample, a great start to what would be a satisfying meal.

Our server, Ian, was attentive from the moment we sat down. He made sure our water glasses were always full and checked in regularly, enhancing the overall dining experience with his friendly demeanor and prompt service.

We started our meal with a mix of fried and steamed pork dumplings—six of each. Unfortunately, I couldn’t snap a photo of the full serving because we couldn’t resist diving in right away. The dumplings were clearly handmade, with delicate, thin wrappers and a perfect balance of flavors. None of that thick, gummy texture you sometimes get with frozen options. They came with a dumpling dipping sauce that complemented them perfectly.

One of the highlights at Delicacy Chinese is their lunch combo, which is available even on weekends. I ordered my go-to dish for any Chinese restaurant, the General Tso’s Chicken combo. The combo comes with your choice of fried or white rice and a side of either a Rangoon, vegetable spring roll, or—for an extra $0.50—an egg roll. I opted to upgrade to the egg roll, and it was well worth it. This egg roll was packed with meat and infused with flavors of Chinese five-spice and curry. It wasn’t the usual cabbage-heavy roll; instead, it was flavorful and satisfying, leaving me wishing I had another.

As for the General Tso’s Chicken, it was phenomenal. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a sauce that had just the right balance of sweetness and heat. It’s definitely the best I’ve had in the surrounding Charlotte area, and while I don’t have a go-to spot in the city itself, Delicacy Chinese now tops my list of favorites.

One of my dining partners ordered the Mongolian beef combo and was equally impressed. The beef was tender, and the sauce was well-balanced—not too sweet and not overloaded with onions, which can sometimes be a problem at other Chinese restaurants.

One small note: if you choose fried rice as a side, it’s just wok-fried with soy sauce—no veggies or egg. It’s simple but works well with the bold flavors of the main dishes.

Overall, Delicacy Chinese is my new top choice for Chinese food, and I’m more than willing to make the trip to Rock Hill whenever I have a craving. A word of advice, though: dine in rather than order takeout. The food is best enjoyed fresh from the kitchen, where it’s piping hot and full of flavor.

WOW! I had this place once or twice a few years ago and liked it enough, then bounced around a few places never satisfied. Tonight I decided to get it again and WOWWWW!!!! Best Chinese takeout maybe ever?? I got wonton soup, chicken hibachi with veggies and noodles. Everything is perfect. The chicken literally had me questioning because I swear it melted in my mouth. Veggies were perfectly cooked, a little bit of crunch as they should be! Shrimp sauce is perfect. Definitely going to be my top spot!

This is my go-to place. It is always good. Homemade wontons; best soup ever! Good selection noodles, curries, tradional dishes and more. Restaurant is clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. It’s a great option for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian family members.
