Let me start by saying that this place is a hidden gem. I live nearby and hadn’t really had the opportunity to stop in. The food is amazing. The salmon egg rolls will have your mouth watering and you begging for more. The cook and owner took the time to greet each guest as she brought out their plates. The drinks are poured strong and the crowd was mature. Great place to stop in for Wednesday night karaoke. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been to Game Tyme about 8 times. Each time the services gets worse. My concern is the bartenders. Extremely rude, dismissive, inattentive and very unprofessional. It always the same energy from the same bartender. When I first went last year April it was great. Went back a few weeks later it was still good however since then it has gotten horrible. No hello when you walk in, instead your met with rude glances. Food wasn’t hot and took a very long time. I’ve been many times and always run a tab however tonight no tabs. I’m wondering if because gratuity is included you get bad services.
I try to support my black owned bussiness however I don’t think I will return unless they do something with the bar staff, the quality of food and the customer service. Come on Game Tyme we have to do better.

No one came and asked us for a drink order for at least 15 to 20 minutes and we waited on food for almost an hour the workers don’t come to work they come to socialize mainly the bartending staff smh ♀️ literally no one was even the smallest bit checking on us and I’m actually sitting at the bar right now

This was my first visit. The food was very good. Nice atmosphere. The service for getting your food was slow.
One party member just went to the kitchen and got his own food.
And, as a side note, I’m a grown woman, don’t serve my drink in a plastic cup. I understand Covid issues, but that’s why there’s soap and water.

I love how they have $5 shots any alcohol of your choice on Saturdays. Great place to go and just vibe. Love the atmosphere! The dj plays good music. Bathrooms are clean. I had a great time! Lisa the owner is so nice and sweet she truly does care about her establishment.

I was picking up a carryout order on a Sunday afternoon. I had already specified to the overly aggressive security and the doorman that I was just here to pickup an order. There is no designated area for order pick-ups, so I was directed to the crowded bar. When I initially placed my order, it was in fact “confirmed” by the kitchen – so I prepaid for my order.
I would’ve thought that this transaction would’ve been quick and easy, but I sadly mistaken. As I approached the bar, I had signaled for a bartender – just to be ignored. The same bartender specifically looked me in the eyes, as I told her I was just picking up an order and walked away. I knew I was a few minutes early, so I patiently waited off to the side. I waited for an extra 30 minutes on the side of the bar because every staff member I got the attention of told me “one second”.
After about 35 minutes, I finally got the attention of what I think was either the bar manager. I had placed my order through the official Game (GT) website – like I’ve done once in the past. I wasn’t sure if she had trouble understanding what I meant, so I showed her my confirmation from the site. I was then told that what I had ordered was “out of stock.” I’m not understanding why if this was the case, was my order still “confirmed” Also, why wasn’t I contacted by a team member to let me know before traveling to pick-up. My concerns were disregarded, and no alternative was suggested in place of what I had ordered. I wasn’t issued a refund, but will be waiting a few business days until the purchase posts to reach back out to GT.
This is like my fifth time coming to Game Tyme, and my customer experience gets worse every time I visit.

The pretzel appetizer was fantastic, but sadly it went downhill fast from there. The burger for dinner was one of the worst tasteless overcooked burgers I’ve ever had. And, after waiting about 20 minutes for a second glass of wine, we asked the waitress to cancel it since everyone was finished with dinner by then and she said “oh I got busy and never entered it.”
