Only in Fairbanks for a few days, so we’ve basically been eating our way through town nonstop because the food scene here is honestly pretty great. We were already disgustingly full from breakfast, but somehow still made room for Irashai Sushi… zero regrets.
The place is always really clean. Every roll we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and completely on point. The fish tasted clean and high quality and nothing felt heavy or overdone, which says a lot considering how full we already were.
The prices were fair for the quality and portions, and we left feeling ridiculously satisfied (and slightly questioning our self-control).
If you’re in Fairbanks and craving sushi, Irashai absolutely delivers. Even when you swear you can’t eat another bite… you’ll find room.

I had the seared tuna nigiri, the salmon nigiri, the crab mushrooms, the Philadelphia roll and a large hot sake. They served complimentary miso soup which was alright. The nigiri was amazing, the philly was good but the nushrooms were just ok.

We had examen, gyoza, Beef teriyaki, and oh my god roll. All of the items were excellent. Definitely recommend and would go back. For dessert, we had tempura bananas with ice cream. Overall, great place.

They give you free miso soup when you sit down. The food is pretty good and the place is relaxing but I noticed some of the decorations are Korean haha. The service is great and I went during non busy time.

I came in to dinner that’s the weather outside very cold -27°C , the staffs very nice and friendly . I ordered Shrimps Tempura, Avocado Salad and Ramen Tempura Soup.. the food are delicious and fresh..in the restaurant clean , warm and best location that’s it closed to Lowe, Walmart, Starbucks Coffee Shop (In the Book Store) easy to find and eat.. if I have opportunity will coming back to eat again. Love ❤️ Irashai Yummy .

Cute little Japanese restaurant with appropriate decor. Craving sushi, I found this place online and read some good reviews. They have some fusions/twists that are great, “BAKED SUSHI”. I had a Volcano roll, they put it together and melt mozzarella over it, then put on the spicy mayo and sauce. If my Gid, it was delicious!!! Husband doesn’t eat sushi so I talked him into beef yakisoba. It was perfectly spiced and threw beef was so tender you could cut it with a plastic spoon. Delicious. How they are still around if I ever get back to Fairbanks.

I had the Irashai Roll and my daughter had The Black Dragon Roll. Our plates were insanely beautiful. So much passion and care went into the presentation. The Black Dragon Roll looked like a dragon! I’ve never seen anything like it. The Irashai Roll is a beautiful color combination. Both had so much flavor, and the eel was so tender. I’m not sure what’s in the sauces, but they’re all note worthy as well. We’ve been here so many times, but believe me when I say they knocked it out of the park this time.
