I went out of my way to stop here on a road trip since it was giving me a good vibe and it was a great decision! This is authentic, well priced, homemade afghani food that you are going to love and it is all served at a very honest price range.

I need to also say that the staff working here are extremely kind and caring. Their love for their food comes through with the flavor that everything has. Homemade, authentic food is not easy to find.

Now onto the food, Their beef manto, triple kabob and qabali polo are a blast of flavor! Manto is so fairly priced at $13 given how long it takes to make. The sauce and split peas are so good with it and the serving size is huge. The qabali polo is very authentic with a perfectly cooked lamb shank. And even though every bite of food was amazing I’d say If you can only get one thing, get the triple kabob plate. As every meat was perfectly cooked, in particular the chapli kabob was my favorite bite.

This is one of those places where you feel good going to and supporting. The owners make every food with extreme care, serve large portions at very fair price point (all 3 things here were like $55). Defiantly go out of your way to come here, whether you’re passing through on a road trip or live near Sacramento, Aria Afghan Restaurant is outstanding!

The food was really good for sure, service was excellent, ambience we shouldn’t be looking for at these kind of small eateries but still good for the location. We ordered beef chapali kebab which was excellent, triple chicken kebab was good too but beef chapali was more flavorful compared to this. Chicken kofta curry was a good option to try but wasn’t up to the mark. Rice served with it was flavorful and the fresh bread was hard to resist. Fries are a must try being crunchy and yummy seasoning. Green tea in the cold weather was a perfect combination to go with the food. Even though they have limited staff but they were too patient and helpful with a smile on their face especially the lady. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anybody looking for yummy delicious kebabs without asking for great looking ambience.

This place was INSANELY GOOD. 10/10 would come back. Mantoo was ridiculously delicious, the koobideh kabob was tasty. Their doogh is homemade and it’s nice and thin and perfectly tangy. So delicious.

The workers are nice and polite. Can’t wait to come back!! God bless this establishment inshallah!!

This Afghan restaurant delivered one of the warmest meals I’ve had in a while. The qabuli was tender and aromatic, with raisins adding subtle sweetness, and the mantu tasted delicate yet rich. The staff were attentive in a genuine way that made the experience feel personal. A comforting dinner that felt both homemade and thoughtfully prepared.

Wow!! This place has that home-cooked, made with love kind of flavor in their food. I was on my way to the airport when I stopped here after seeing the Aerospace Museum of CA. It was the perfect blend of protein and rice. I got the chicken kabob and it was amazing !! The red, green sauce mix was next level , highly recommend this place !

The owner of the place are nice, no question on that. The food are really good, and the proportion is amazing for the price of the food. The only reason why its 4 star not five is because of my first time entering the area I was not really appetized. As I walk in I want to smell the food being cooked in the back, with the aroma seeping in and not cleaning supplies. Also, their was not enough tissue that I got, the only tissue i got was the one that came with the knife and fork. However, I would go there again. With those flaws, there food is really good.
