Véritable bistrot à l’ambiance conviviale et décontractée, Le Charabia est ouvert tous les jours de la semaine. Le Bistrot Le Charabia est situé dans le centre de Bordeaux, à deux pas de la place Pey Berland. Le déjeuner est servi de 12h00 à 14h00, le menu change chaque jour. L’happy-hour est servi de 17h00 à 19h00. La sélection de vin compte environ 200 références de vins biologiques, biodynamiques et naturels ainsi qu’une sélection de bières artisanales locales de la brasserie l’Effet Papillon. Le soir le chef vous propose une carte courte de bistrot soignée, gourmande et de saison. Quand la météo le permet, vous pouvez profiter d’une large terrasse ensoleillée midi et soir en sirotant un de nos délicieux cocktails. A très bientôt!

Very nice meal in this neighborhood bistro, short menu but plenty of options which means that they home cook with fresh ingredients.
Been there several times, always delicious!
Tasty beef tartare, fish meal with the catch of the day, superb veal dish with purée de pommes de terre, a pork terrine, beef with sautéed potatoes, etc.
Fantastic desserts as in a tarte Tatum, chocolate tart, riz au lait with salted caramel, tarte à la rhubarbe, etc.
Delicious pommeau de Normandie, pr armagnac, wine by the glass that changes often enough.
One of my favorite go-to-bistrot!

That was a great feast! We devoured few dishes some of them are better some less, matter of taste. I guess one of the best places in Bordeaux to have a dinner or a glass of a decent wine. Waiters surprisingly friendly attentive and helpful. We definitely will be back 🙂

The ambience and the staff are great. It has a small dinner menu, 4 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts. Prices are a bit at the high end 22 Euros average per dish. Small portions but not too bad, tasteswise- average. I would skip the desserts.
