Great menu. Something new in the area. Shrimp Grilled Cheese and Lobster Mac n Cheese were delicious. Highly recommend if you want a different taste. Their Whiskey Sauce is so good and comes warm (we bought a bottle of it). Watermelon Jolly Rancher drink anyone?

MY WORD!!!!!!! This place was recommended by my hairstylist and I am so glad that I visited!!! I LOVED the salmon and grits with lobster sauce!!! Ooooooooooooooowwwweeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! It was an absolutely DEEEEELISHIOUSSS party in my mouth!!! I couldn’t even drive away without eating ALL OF IT!! It was smhokin good and smhokin hot (temperature) and I absolutely enjoyed every morsel of it. I also ordered a mac n cheese with lobster and shrimp but I wasn’t as wowed by it as I was by the salmon dish. If I didn’t live 2 hours away on most days, then I would absolutely frequent this place. I’ll have to visit again when I’m in town next. So I HIGHLY recommend this place! I love how the owner would tell each person, “See you tomorrow!” as we left. Now I know why! Haha!

I had high expectations coming here just by reading others reviews. My family went there tonight – ordered 2 small jambalaya’s, a lobster grilled cheese sandwich & a kid’s grilled cheese sandwich. I will say I was pleased w/ the lobster grilled cheese but didnt understand why there seemed like beef franks instead of andouille sausage on their jambalaya.

Been here twice, first time I got the lobster Mac and cheese, only reason I got lobster is because no matter what kind of protein you want the price is the same so I figured I’d get my money’s worth. What you get is a small cup of Mac and cheese with a few lobster bits in it, definitely wasn’t worth the price even if you went with a different protein. Second time I went I got their Cajun nachos or whatever it’s called, was a small plate and again wasn’t worth the price. They get 3 stars because the flavor is actually not bad but the price of the food compared to the portion sizes just isn’t worth it in my opinion.

I ordered food from them and it was the worst experience. The food came in two little containers and they charged me $20 each. The jambalaya had big cut sausages and they were to chew, about 4 shrimps and 3 of them were over cooked and super soft and the rice had no taste. I regret ordering food from here and honestly I like to support businesses but some businesses like this won’t thrive far if they don’t put their efforts in catering to their customers. I overlooked the bad reviews that they had to give them a chance but that didn’t turn out well for me.

It took 30 minutes for 6 shrimp tacos with 1 shrimp cut into 3 pieces in each taco. Unfortunately a few of the tacos didn’t even have that. Took the plate back only to be accused of stealing pieces of shrimp off the tacos. Mind you I ordered two sets of tacos and only took one plate that had the short tacos. Had to wait another 30 minutes for the manager to come from home to even talk. She said she looked at the camera and her cook chopped up the 1 shrimp into 3 and it was correct. Didn’t get a refund nor the tacos remade with a decent amount of shrimp. 17.00 and 91 gas wasted. I try to support blk owned businesses but, this was way to wrong for me. I would never go back or recommend this spot

2nd Time Ordering: I am really disappointed with this place and lack of professionalism. We decided to order lunch and give our local business a try. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and grits, I ordered gumbo since we had a cold snap and it was good gumbo weather. My daughter ordered the lobster macaroni. Mind you we ordered through the grubhub app. 1st call from Chef C’s was confirmation that they got our order but they don’t have grits but they can substitute it for fries or nachos. He asked them about the bisque and they didn’t have that menu item. It happens no big deal and my boyfriend switched his order to gumbo.
We get a second call when grubhub driver arrives roughly around 12. We don’t have your gumbo ready because it takes a minute to cook the roux. We can refund your gumbo order and send the lobster macaroni or you can wait on your gumbo. We find out this will be ready around 2. We are agreeable to the time but hungry. We ask them to send the macaroni and since we don’t live far away we can come by at 2 for the gumbo. Mind you we waited until 2:30 to pick up the gumbo just in case it wasn’t ready. We get there the kitchen is cold and staff was in the front sitting down. We get an apology which we accept because clearly they are young workers and not responsible for the kitchen. Most likely reheat and serve easy preprepared food items. We are told the chef is not in and they could take our phone number and someone would call us. They ask if we want to come back the next day for gumbo and that “chef would have it ready” or we could get a refund. Since we want to support our community we felt that we would just come back the next day around noon for gumbo. Frustrated but feeling like it’s redeemable. We did not get that phone call from the owner and when we came back for our gumbo, guess what? Yeah……..no gumbo but the staff did ask for our name/phone number yet again. We went home and requested a refund for our 2 orders of gumbo from grubhub. They should regroup as a small business and take a lot of stuff off the menu so the staff can manage food that’s within their scope of experience. Reheating precooked items should not be their business model for every food item on the menu. Clearly it’s to ambitious for a kitchen that’s not fully staffed on posted business hours.

One of my favorite new spots. Finally a different flavor in the neighborhood. Surf and Turf over rice is my dish. The kale salad on top sets the flavors apart from other Surf and Turf dishes I’ve tried. Trying the lobster Mac n Cheese next… I’ll keep y’all posted!!
