This place is a good place to eat, you have to try their pimento burger I ordered it as a double and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and a few of the locals made this stop more than worth the effort, enjoyed it so much had to get the staff photo for the review, granted it’s missing one person (you know who you are lol) but thank you for the memory!!!

This was our first trip to this Highway 55 burgers. We stopped specifically for hamburgers at lunch. We were very pleased all in all. My lady got a large hamburger all the way. Now you have to understand she really likes onions on her hamburger. On this particular burger there were not onions for her to even taste. We took them as takeout so going back was out of the question. She ate it all anyway, but the small amount of onions kept us from ratings the food a five. I got a large cheeseburger all the way and it was great. We got fries and they were freshly cooked and delicious. I think this place is great and we will go back. There is plenty of parking and it is handicapped accessible.

The worst experience. Don’t eat the shrimp. We ordered 2 shrimp sandwiches meals and a spicy shrimp salad and the shrimp was old hard and dry and smelled terrible. I don’t know where the got those shrimps from but we never seen them made this way before. I’ve gotten this meal plenty of times from the Bendon location and they never looked or smelled like this. Just terrible. We couldn’t even eat it. Total waste of money and very poor quality food. Made me sick to my stomach all night. Go to another location

Good food. I’ve had it all, it’s all good no matter what you get. My favorite is the chicken strip platter. Slaw, fries, buttery toast and you can get 4 or 6 chicken strips. The burgers are good. Shrimps good. Coleslaw is really good. They have sweet tea, Pepsi products, their orangeaid is really good. Fresh squeezed oranges mixed with a sugar water. They have frozen custard. You can get it plain or toppings added. They have really good banana splits. Go after 5pm, the staff is better and a lot nicer.

We’ve eaten here a few times. Always trying different menu items. On this last visit. We found the portions were very small. I know costs have risen. But 4 onion rings, 8 little tater tots? Had to keep asking our waitress for condiments. I finally got up and got our own straw for behind the counter. They were not very busy. The gravy on the hamburger stake was mostly grease. Like they didn’t stir it or drain the oil. HORRIBLE! We’ll go back. They are usually more attentive. But the size of the portions will probably not change. With labor and supply costs going up.

I used to love going to highway 55 with my aunt and uncle when I came up to visit. We have eaten at multiple locations but this one by far is the dirtiest location, the floors looked liked they haven’t been mopped in a year, the booths were sticky, and the food used to be worth the money now the burgers are small and tasteless, my daughter had to smoother her plain burger in ranch to eat it.
The owner needs a wake up call in customer service and not be rude when people are trying to use there rewards cards that the owner of the franchise sent her and said use as many as you need for your dinners!
Customers can make and break a restaurant, I hope you turn this location around for the better
It needs a overhaul, a cleaning from top to bottom. I would hate to see what your fridges look like if your floor is dirty

This is by far the best Highway 55 around! The atmosphere is great! It hasn’t been remodeled to look like the boring black, white and red chairs, tables but has pink and teal with checkered floors. The service is awesome and best part the service those delicious Bright leaf hotdogs unlike the rest of the Highway 55’s. Food is delicious! Highly recommend!
