We had the homemade lasagne and the buffalo cheese pizza, alongside the garlic focaccia and the fries. The lasagne was the best i’ve ever had in the UK and all of the other dishes were amazing and worth every penny. However, the service was a bit slow and some poor customer service moments from one staff member. Thank you to Alessandro and the team we had a lovely date night!

Went on a quiet Wednesday evening. Really enjoyed the food that was had especially the desserts. Bruchetta was fantastic and pasta was cooked perfectly. I just wished the service time was a bit more swift but overall dining experience was still very pleasant.

The Chicken Milanese was perfectly golden and crisp, the pasta had a proper rich tomato taste but the real highlight was the dessert. Warm Nutella doughnut stuffed with ice cream, melting into chocolate drizzle. ridiculous. Genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

We visited Sandro’s in Glasgow for my son’s 4th birthday and had a brilliant experience. The food was excellent, the arancini and bruschetta were fresh and full of flavour, and the pizzas were the star of the show. The pasta dishes coming out around us looked fantastic as well. The quality of the food was spot on, but what really made the day was the staff and the service. Warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive, it made a big difference.
It’s a great spot for a family meal, excrllent value, and a lovely atmosphere. Everyone from my kids to my grandparents had a great time and really enjoyed their food. I would thoroughly recommend and thank you for a wonderful meal, we’ll definitely be back soon.

Hi, I visited Sandro’s for lunch with my dad and 2 year old daughter. The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. Value for money also very good. The owner (Sandro) made us feel very welcome and made such an effort to interact with us as well as my 2 year old daughter which made the experience even better. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I can’t wait to return – the hot and spicy pizza was yummy! 🙂

I love this wee place. I took my mum here for a change of scenery and some authentic hearty Italian food, and we also enjoyed some superb cocktails. We weren’t disappointed!! It was totally worth the subway journey! The place was bustling but also nice and relaxed, fairy-lit and cosy! The staff are very personable, pleasant and take great care of you. It’s nice to see some life back in this venue again. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Outstanding meal for 4 with drinks using a voucher in beautiful surroundings. The quality of the bruchetta and aranchini starters together with the various pizza and pasta main meals were all absolutely excellent as was the lovely waitress service. The fantastic chef even came out to check that we enjoyed the various courses, which is rare these days and was appreciated.
Even without a voucher this restaurant is great value and I’d highly recommend it to everyone that enjoys high quality Italian food in beautiful surroundings.

A Slice of Italy in Glasgow – Simply Outstanding!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sandro’s Pizzeria in Glasgow, and what an experience it was! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine Italian hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the pizza. Crafted with top-quality ingredients, the base was light, airy, and perfectly crispy—thanks to a 48-hour fermentation process that made all the difference. Every bite was a burst of flavor, with a balance of textures that was simply divine. It’s clear that passion and expertise go into every pizza here.
But the delights didn’t stop there. I also indulged in their mille-feuille, a masterpiece of delicate layers and velvety custard. The pastry was flaky, the cream was rich and smooth, and it was evident that this dessert was made with true artistry.
To top it all off, the coffee was the real deal—an authentic Italian espresso that transported me straight to a café in Naples. The service was swift and attentive, and the cozy, stylish ambiance made me feel right at home.
Sandro’s is more than just a pizzeria; it’s a little piece of Italy in the heart of Glasgow. Whether you’re craving a perfect pizza, a decadent dessert, or just a great cup of coffee, this place delivers on every level. I can’t wait to return—highly recommended!

Standard pizza place with a stone oven. The flavors were fine but nothing special, and ingredients didn’t feel particularly high quality. Decent for a quick bite, but nothing to go out of the way for.
